We love using Wag Hotels Lincoln park for boarding/day care! The front entrance staff is always super friendly and happy to see our pug when we drop her off. We also really like having the ability to use the webcam to check in on our dog in the playroom. This is the only doggy daycare that we have felt secure using. Highly recommended!

I'll start by saying I did EXTENSIVE research on daycares in the area for our rescue pup and nowhere is perfect, but Wag is as close to perfect as I found. We've never done daycare with our previous dogs, but Scooter is a high energy 2 year old Great Dane who needs socialization and playtime so he doesn't destroy our home or have to be in his crate while we work all day. Wag has been incredible for us. We were hoping to find a place for consistent daycare that did not restrict the days of the week we had to send him because our schedules change constantly, and could also board him. I wanted a place with someone in-house at night for boarding in case anything happened. The pluses: - Flexibility: wide range of pick up and drop off times including late nights, no rollover to boarding after a certain time, daycare on weekends, etc. - Boarding pricing includes all day daycare play - Loving staff- everyone knows us and Scooter really well. Any issue we have we bring up to them and it's fixed and noted in his file! They know his routines, who he plays well with, who he doesn't play well with. They're all awesome! - Healthcare discount is a great perk for us - He loves going and hates to leave his friends - When he misbehaves, the staff manages him very well and gives him a break in a quiet spot until he's ready to come back. We love that they're so in tune and make sure when he's riled up he can take time out to calm down before playing again. He gets rotated when certain dogs are there, and we know he's safe - Scooter is SO tired after he comes home and the next day he sleeps the day away - Cameras to see daycare and his boarding room Minuses: - I would love to see more enrichment and structure during all day play like some other places offer- tug toys, ramps, sniff spots, etc. The daycare is an open room and dogs play how they want, when they want. - Staffing numbers- I feel overwhelmed on some days seeing how many dogs are there with the number of staff. That said, nothing has happened, he's well taken care of, but I wonder if more staff would be helpful. I get how hard of job it is and how difficult it must be to find someone to do this work!

We used Wag Hotels during our trip to Chicago. We initially called ahead to get some questions answered and the person who answered appeared confused and told us that there were no reservations available for the days we were looking at. He did then check another Wag location in Chicago and said it would cost 700 dollars! We were confused as we only asked to board for 1 night. When clarified, the person had the wrong dates. After we asked other questions we hung up feeling very disatisfied as the person on the line gave us one word answers without further clarification. We were unsure whether to book or not but due to the hours of the location and proximity to our hotel we decided to go ahead and book a reservation for 1 night. Check in was ok, the staff who greeted us was nice. We asked if we could tour the facility; however we were told no. The staff did show us a camera feed of the dog area. We also asked if the dogs were seperated by energy level and were told no. Since our dog is very anxious and gets nervous about boarding we wanted to make sure she wouldnt be around high energy animals. During the stay we were checking the cameras where we can see the main playground. All the dogs looked bored, some walked along with the staff doing their rounds, but overall looked bored and not being payed attention to. We could only see the play area from 10-6pm. After we got our pet back, she appeared ok and happy but after a few hours she looked like she had seen some things but had only been there less than 24hrs. She normally dislikes boarding, however; we have never seen her act like this. Which made us question what happend at this facility. Upon further inspection of her body she had a rash on the bottom of her tail and had heat rashes. She also had some discharge on her eyes. After a few days she got back to normal but seemed like she was a bit traumatized from the stay. We should have trusted our gut and not have booked this facility.

We love Wag! The staff demonstrates genuine care and professionalism throughout the day, and the facility maintained high standards of cleanliness and safety. Our dog was well-supervised during playtime and returned home happy and content. The seamless check-in and pickup process made the entire experience hassle-free. We're confident leaving our dog in their capable hands and will definitely return!

Came here with my Dog Fritz for his first time Daycare. Everyone was welcoming and loving! They confirmed my appointment with ease even with all the Add-on I included for my pet to feel comfortable. I did not feel rushed and my pet felt comfortable walking in. During the day , I was able to watch Fritz through the Wag Cam from 10am-6pm. I can tell he was having lots of fun and he was very happy. I even got a call telling me how he has been. I was reassured my pet was safe. Then I was able to pickup Fritz at a late hour and even that process was easy. This was a great experience for me and Fritz ! I’m totally coming here again!
