Choose between kayaks or stand up paddle to have many hours of fun getting to learn new techniques from Ben a professional SUP instructor that knows every corner of the river. No previous experience required. Fantastic family plan!!!

Ben and his staff were great! I had to switch times and Ben has been helpful with my inquiries both in-person and online. He gave us a concise orientation and we were in the water in no time. The paddleboat and kayaking experience went smoothly and we had a lot of fun especially being our first times.

This was one of the most grounding and soul nourishing experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I arrived, Ben and Preston of Waterfront RVA made me feel so welcomed and at ease. They took the time to guide me onto the paddleboard with care and patience, making sure I felt completely safe and supported. Their calm, encouraging energy set the tone for what became a truly sacred experience. Even though I was floating in the middle of the river, I felt completely held. Once we anchored, Shanna of Sacred Vibes Yoga invited us into stillness and guided the most beautiful sound bath I’ve ever experienced. Floating on the river, the vibration of the singing bowls moved through my whole body. The water seemed to carry the sound, amplifying the healing in a way that felt deeply spiritual and somatic. Eyes closed, heart open, I felt completely connected to the water, the sky, my breath, and something much greater. It wasn’t just a yoga or sound session, it was a ceremony. A return to self. So much gratitude to Shanna, Ben, and Preston for co-creating such a unique and healing experience. If you ever get the chance, do this. Your breath, mind, body, and spirit will thank you. 💙🌞🌿

This was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend anyone give it a try. The instructor was very patient and informative. The entire journey from picking up your gear, to paddling across the river, to participating in class, and receiving photos of your time on the board, was top-notch. I can’t even explain the feeling of empowerment of accomplishing this activity and how surreal it felt on the river at sunset watching the skyline.
