I was impressed with how clean the place was, how friendly my artist was and the overall experience. I got my very first tattoo about a week ago and saw ness. He was super nice and did my tattoo exactly how I wanted it and envisioned it! I was very nervous but he made me feel comfortable. I had no idea what to expect so I was messaging the shop on instagram and they answered my questions very well and quickly. I will be back in the future and I highly recommend!!!
It’s been a little over a month since I got my touch up tattoo from West Hudson. This is a touch up on my 5th tattoo. I have a tattoo on my ribcage (my largest one), inner upper arm, above my elbow, shoulder blade, and on the last one on the side of my ring finger. The tattoo on my finger, I got at the end of November overseas and wanted to get it touched up locally as New Jersey has been a significant location in my life. I looked up tattoo shops near me and West Hudson had a lot of great reviews but regretfully I won’t be one of them. My husband and I were a walk in but called ahead regarding what we wanted to get done. I must note, Ness (I assume is the owner) did not do the touch up. Based on their Instagram, I think it’s Ricardo. I apologize I didn’t make much conversation with him as he primarily spoke Spanish which might have been the disconnect but I put my trust in him. We pulled up an example of the font for the letter “S” I wanted to touch up and, to be honest, it felt like he was ripping my finger open the entire time. Please remember this isn’t my first tattoo. I’ll attach the reference photos for touch up, when I first got it before the touch up, while it was healing after the touch up and the tattoo a month after touch up.
Danny was super professional. He helped me map out some tattoos and we did 2 pieces same day. Shop was clean and music was great! Definitely recommend.
Absolutely amazing experience! The shop was super clean, dope vibe and everyone there was friendly and professional. Big shoutout to my tattoo artist Ness who took their time to make sure the design was exactly what I wanted and the detail came out perfect. They made me feel comfortable the whole session and gave great aftercare tips. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next tattoo!
Shop was super clean. i was a walk in and service was quick, i am satisfied with my tattoo and i will be coming back in a few weeks for another one! Shout out to Daniel for this dope piece!
