This was the highlight of our trip to Houston. Very well maintained stable and you can tell immediately upon entry that the horses are well cared for. Our instructor was Melanie who was very sweet and experienced, our little son had the time of his life riding Dennis. Some lovely dogs on site as well.

We had our son’s 7th birthday party at the West stables and I can’t recommend them enough. Our contact was McKenzie and she was very helpful with all our questions. My son and his friends along with all their siblings had the best time. They did not want to leave after the event. Our helpers were the cutest and guided the boys carefully. The littles wanted to take all the Ponies, kittens, dogs and horses home with them.

I had a really wonderful experience at West Stables. I met with the barn manager, Jessica, when I visited to look for a lease horse and she gave me a tour. I ended up purchasing the mare after about 3 weeks of spending time with her. I continued to board her there until I moved out of state- even bringing my other horse there for a few weeks! During my time there, I saw how well the horses are cared for, how communicative the staff is, how friendly the other boarders are, and how nice the facilities are and in an excellent location. There are camps, events, and over all a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. If I ever move back to Houston, I’ll make sure to see if they have any boarding vacancies.

I am thrilled to have found West Stables! Such a friendly/family vibe that makes anyone feel welcome. I have never seen horses taken care of better. Fresh shavings daily, clean, topped-off water, fed quality hay and just, wow, very impressed with how much is done for my horse. The main barn stalls are HUGE, and there is always a friend for your horse to stand next to. The arena is always freshly dragged and the round pen is very nice and extra large. To top it off, you can walk right out to miles of trails directly behind the barn. The owners feel like family and it’s just a wonderful place that I’m happy to call home. So blessed to have found West Stables. ❤️

We had the BEST birthday party at West Stables! From planning and having a million questions, McKenzie was super responsive and thorough. Bekah and Pedro were amazing hosts. They were patient, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and a joy to be around. My daughter and her friends had such a great experience and loved all the hands on time with the horses. We highly recommend West Stables!
