My daughters have been training at this martial arts academy, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience they’re having! Sifu Marvin is an outstanding instructor — patient, professional, and truly dedicated to helping every student succeed. The other instructors are just as amazing, always kind, encouraging, and great at keeping the kids motivated while teaching discipline and respect.
Fantastic facility with first class instructors! The atmosphere is what you would want for your child’s growth - it feels like family while also being serious and disciplined. My daughter went from being nervous to start, to asking me when she could go back. I have noticed she thinks of herself as stronger and faster even outside of the studio. Overall, we are extremely pleased with her progress and I can’t thank the team enough - shoutout to Sifu Marvin and Sifu Jacques for welcoming us to the Jeet Kune Do Family! Three of us from an affiliate school were competing in the TBA Muay Thai tournament. Unfortunately our head coach wasn't able to make it, and Kru Marvin agreed to coach us. The experience with Kru Marvin, Kru Curtis, Scott, and the rest of the team at WCMAA was so welcoming, and they treated us (who are practically strangers) like family. Kru Marvin takes care of his people! I highly recommend training with him if you're looking for a team with extensive martials background that are people/family first!
I have the best experience with this place that is like a family first! So warm environment with amazing instructors and students too… teaches way more than only martial arts. I have both boys here and they both really got so much better in all aspects although they both are so young… with my little son, Sifu Marvin and the rest were so patient as he was hard and too young, but with consistency finally he was able to learn to practice and commit and I really appreciate all the support this academy is providing to help kids grow and improve their skills, confidence and self discipline.
Our family is a part of WCMAA for the last 5 years. The Head of the School - Marvin one of the most dedicated person I 've seen in my life. I can speak for myself. I joined my kids only last year. My mental health, fitness level etc. is way better now. I met some amazing people there , made lots of friends. All ages are welcome. We have 3 years old kids and 65 years old man and I am 62 now. My kids Anna and Maria already accomplished a lot , even competing on the World level and more to come in the future.
