I walked in for an order, they were really nice and made a beautiful bouquet for my mom. ❤️
Stopped in today while they were absolutely swamped prepping for a wedding (the flowers they were putting together for that looked incredible btw). They made some time to work with me on a custom bouquet right there on the spot. Lovely little shop with lovelier people. Great value too.
Whitewood Flowers created an amazing arrangement including colors that were dear to the receiver and even asked for inspiration photos as they designed it. They turned it around in a quick timeframe in order to be ready for a celebration that evening. Superior work!
This was a disappointing experience I called to order a sunflower bouquet to be delivered and stated to the staff member they could add something else to ‘round it out’. They asked when I wanted it, I said the same day and they said they were busy but it would not be a problem. What I got was a bouquet that featured Gerber Daisies and included 3 small sunflowers ( not the big ones you would expect). They did give me the chance to approve this prior to delivery by texting me that night at 7:30 and waiting 15 minutes. They did not say to expect a text and who thinks a florist is still working at 7:30 at night on a Friday! When I expressed my disappointment the response was less than satisfactory. They proceeded to instruct me how I could be a better customer NEXT TIME - as if! Keep looking if you need a florist or be prepared to send them pictures of what you want
I stop by this flower shop almost every week, and it’s easily one of my favorite parts of living in DC. She always has the most gorgeous, freshest seasonal and premium flowers, varieties you just don’t find at most shops around here. Her sense of color and eye for aesthetic is something really rare. I genuinely enjoy picking flowers with her from her collection and chat about ideas for arrangements, very inspiring. You can tell she puts her heart into every bouquet. There’s a real elegance and luxury to her work, and somehow she still manages to keep everything surprisingly affordable. She’s also super thoughtful about how the flowers are handled and gives such helpful tips on how to make them last. Honestly, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s hands-down my favorite flower shop around here..
