I was apprehensive of going to Wildwood after a really bad salon experience a couple yrs ago where my waist length hair was pretty much ruined. My fears were laid to rest the literal minute I met Grace at Wildwood. She listened to exactly what I wanted done with my hair, asked me lots of questions to make sure she was on the same page with me and my needs. I LOVE that they keep track of the previous services so I can just tell Grace that we are doing the same thing as before and not have to go through it all over again. I am so happy to have found Wildwood, my new salon home. I always leave feeling fresh and beautiful, and the prices are totally reasonable.
Makell is a great stylist! I’ve been going to her for a while now (I honestly can’t remember how long), but she does such an amazing job that it feels like forever. She is incredibly talented at what she does, and she’s also friendly, warm, and very personable. She always makes me feel comfortable and listens to exactly what I want, and I’m always happy with the results. I’ve never had a bad experience with her and will continue to see her as long as she’s doing hair. The salon is always clean, welcoming, and professional. I highly recommend Makell to anyone looking for a stylist.
Makell is absolutely amazing! I am so thrilled with my recent visit to Wildwood Hair Co! I had my blonde highlights done, and I can confidently say that Makell and any other stylist I’ve seen there nails it perfectly. Their stylists take the time to understand exactly what I want and offer expert advice on shades that would complement my skin tone. The application process is always meticulous, and I appreciated how Makell explains each step, ensuring I feel comfortable and informed. My hair looks and feels incredibly healthy, and I’ve received countless compliments since leaving the salon. If you’re looking for a new hair place and someone who truly understands blonde hair and can deliver stunning results, look no further. I can’t recommend them enough! Five stars all the way! 🌟✨
Grace is literally a gem!!! I always get so nervous trying to find a new place/someone to trust with cutting my hair, but my old stylist was too far of a drive. I messaged to ask about stylists with experience with very long thick hair and who are gentle when styling (since I dread trying a new place and having them rip through my hair or rushing the cut), and Grace was one of several I was recommended. She literally was the most gentle stylist I've ever had, she was so easy and fun to talk with, so kind, and left my hair looking so nice and refreshed! She took her time and made sure mid-process that I was happy with how it was going, which I've never had anyone ask before. The atmosphere was a lot more calm and chill than other salons I've been to before which I so appreciate. I've never been this impressed with a hair stylist before; I felt so well taken care of! I'm so thankful I happened across Wildwood, and Grace especially! Looking forward to my next cut. I highly recommend!
I’ve had nothing but the BEST experience with Makell! I’ve been going to her for my color since November 2024 and waited to give a review so I can give an honest opinion of my experience at Wildwood. She is a young lady with an experience level and skill of someone who has been a colorist for years! I’ve had my hair colored for many, many years (I’m aging my self here) going to one of the top salons in the Chicago land area (Mario Tricoci)and seeing highly experienced colorist with many years of experience. Makell exceeded their craft!, She has gained a forever client!! What Makell has to do with my hair is a process, we are almost there 😃 pics what my hair used to look like to now! This is not the final product.
