We’re first-time dog owners, and working with Rebecca has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our puppy, Ace. Rebecca took care of and trained Ace for more than 5 weeks while we were traveling, and she laid a truly strong foundation: structure, clear expectations, and skills that carried over into everyday life. We came back to a noticeably more settled, confident puppy—and, just as importantly, we came back with a plan we could actually follow. A few things that really stood out: Consistent updates while we were away. Rebecca regularly shared Ace’s progress, playtimes, and how he was doing. It gave us peace of mind and reinforced that he was in great hands. Confidence + social growth. Ace also made a best friend while boarding/training at Rebecca’s place, and we’ve seen a big jump in his confidence since then. Judgment-free, practical coaching. Rebecca taught us step-by-step what to do and why, and she tailored the training to Ace and our household (not a one-size-fits-all script). Ongoing follow-up. Even after we returned, she continued to check in and schedule follow-up sessions, helping us focus on next priorities like door manners and calm greetings. If you want a trainer who is professional, kind, and genuinely invested in long-term outcomes for both dog and owner, I highly recommend Willow Glen Paws.

This was the first time we had to be away from our 16 week old golden retriever puppy. We paid for an assessment with Rebecca at Willow Glen Paws and felt comfortable enough to trust her with our furry bundle of joy. We utilized Rebecca's board and train services from Wednesday through Sunday. I will say, when we picked up our pup, he was happy and obviously comfortable in the environment there. Rebecca then took the time to show us what she had been working on with our dog and ensured we understood how to continue forward. Rebecca also asked for permission to take our shy puppy to a puppy social while he was in her care. This proved to be extremely beneficial and our dog has been to two additional puppy socials since and is becoming much more Confident in his social skills. Rebecca clearly knows and understands dog training. We look forward to continuing to utilize Rebecca for future boarding and training.

I reached out to Rebecca in a tough situation. I rescued a 3 year old Maltipoo from a shelter with severe separation anxiety. Due to incessant barking I received two warnings from my leasing office. The third one would have had serious consequences. That is when a pet sitter (Linda) shared Rebecca's information. She completed a home visit and assessed not just my dog but our family dynamics. She shared constructive tips on how to systematically and gradually increase my dogs confidence through simple exercises that my kids could engage the dog in. She practically showed me how to position the dog in a way that he knew I was around but had limited access. She also showed me high preference treats and different tools to dispense them. Post consultation she shared an elaborate report with useful recommendation and links to purchase the tools I had shared interest in. She followed up via zoom to check in on me and the progress we had made with our training. All in all, I have nothing but praises for her patience and her expertise. Thank you Rebecca! You timely help has eased some of our stress :)

I'm so glad we found Rebecca! We have a crazy new dog with a barking problem and nothing we were doing was working. We have had dogs for 15 years, but this new girl has been a challenge. Rebecca came to our house for a 90 minute consultation. She met our dog, Pippa, and observed the problems we told her about. Rebecca gave us many tips and tricks to deal with her behavior issues. We have noticed a big change in her behavior already just from rewarding her good behavior more frequently. We feel more confident in dealing with her now that we know the reasons why she is barking. She seems to be making a little more progress each day. I know it will take time, but we are armed with new strategies to tackle her issues. I also love that she only uses positive reinforcement. Pippa is a rescue who may have experienced trauma in the past, so we want to make sure that she is only treated with kindness from now on.

I'm very happy to have found Rebecca. She gave me concrete suggestions on how to work with my very, very active puppy. I felt like I spent my days following behind his path of destruction and now I have some tools to make us both happy. Rebecca followed up with some specific ideas for beginning agility training with things we have around the house. Will definitely cosult with Rebecca as he gets older.

Rebecca was responsive and provided a lot of very useful information to us even before we picked up our new pup out of state. We invited Rebecca for a consultation at our home in Campbell. Even with prior experience as a dog owner, her insights into our pup’s development were incredibly valuable. Rebecca provided personalized advice tailored to her needs. Her expertise, kindness, and guidance make her an excellent resource for dog training in the greater Campbell area. Thank you Rebecca!
