I enjoyed my massage, however, the rest of the experience left much to be desired. The front desk clerk was so rude and off putting. I arrived at 4:30 for a 4:45 appointment and was reprimanded upon arrival and told that 15 minutes early was considered “late”. I was very quickly rushed back and told that I didn’t arrive early enough to have time to change into a robe or slippers. I was taken straight back to the room for my massage. I booked the 2hr relaxing experience. My massage itself was very nice, however, it was difficult to relax given the rushed environment with which I was greeted. Afterwords, she took me over to the locker rooms and told me that I was welcome to use the amenities and freshen up if I would like. While I was in there, there was another employee that made an announcement to all of us stating that they closed at 8 and that we needed to watch our time. It was only 6:30… While the massage was nice, I found it to be extremely overpriced. I do not feel that I was given the full experience that I was charged for. I am also confused as to why I had to fill out an intake form asking for my robe and slipper sizes and my favorite drink if none of these were even offered or made available to me. Overall, found the experience extremely overpriced and really not that relaxing.
Thank you for making my 30th birthday (January 13th) extra special! I appreciate your patience as I was running a few minutes late to my appointment due to construction, but my massage was amazing! The facility was clean, calming, and welcoming. I look forward to returning in the future!
I love Woodhouse Spa! They truly are the standard bearer in Columbus, IMO. I’ve been a customer when they were one spa in Dublin. I love the many varied services they offer. I love the decor and the quiet rooms along with their staff. I never left and felt it was too much or overpriced. Here is my only issue, they need to have a better gift card presentation. No one needs the elaborate menu because we can see it online. They used to do better. I would drive to the spa in person for the gift card rather than printing it because a great presentation seems special and worthy. I bought a gift card for my daughter at a spa in Sacramento and they give you a thin metal lidded box with potpourri, a lavender sprig and a ribbon (think the jewelry counter scene in “Love Actually”). Do better, don’t just take our money, act like you care and appreciate our patronage. After all, we have many choices.
A Christmas Eve massage. The front desk staff are amazing. The changing areas are clean. The quiet room is relaxing and the peppermint hot tea is my go to. My masseuse Adam was fantastic! I've never been disappointed with my service.
The spa was very clean and all the staff were very friendly! The quiet room was amazing. Definitely made me feel very pampered during my mother-to-be package! Loved the warm towels during my massage and the dazzle dry polish during my pedicure!
