We had our wedding at the Woolworth this fall and absolutely loved our experience with the venue and the team at the Woolworth. I loved the white brick, industrial feel and wanted a venue that was in the heart of Omaha. We really liked that there were several spaces within the venue, like a space for cocktail hour, the dinner, and the buffet line. I worked with Maddi and she was a dream, she was so responsive to all my emails and helped make our wedding reception everything I dreamed of and more! I highly recommend the Woolworth!!
Let me say one thing. The people rating 5 stars got very lucky. The venue handled a situation very poorly. They even admitted fault after the event. Admitting fault did not solve anything and the wedding was ruined. It ruined the special day and it will never be repaired. The security had a gun on his hip that he showed off to the whole venue( which everyone thought was weird). He was on some type of power trip. It made the guest and me very uncomfortable. That was only the beginning. I won’t go into detail about the event that took place but I will say that if wedding family had sued they would have won the case. The event that took place caused a lot of drama and damage to someone’s special day that will never be repaired. The family is still recovering after almost a year. The venue over reacted and caused a scene. I would say that this event caused emotional distress. I would blame it on the bartenders and the security but venue supplies both of these. The venue only offered money in return and did not fire the staff after the events took place, even after admitting fault. This wedding venue might look beautiful but it will always be remembered as a terrible place in many people’s lives.
Words cannot express my gratitude for The Woolworth and the events team there, but I will certainly try! Working alongside The Woolworth was nothing short of exceptional. From the beginning, Paige worked with us to make every single detail seamless, and the day went flawlessly thanks to her and their expert team. The venue itself is stunning and unlike anything else in the Omaha area—timeless and versatile, setting the perfect backdrop for our day. This place is a gem that not many know about at this time (at least in my social circle!). Our guests were wowed not only by the ambiance, but by the attentive service and flow of the evening. As an event professional myself, this team not only met, but exceeded my high expectations and I cannot recommend this venue and team more. We felt truly supported and appreciated the way they brought our vision to life. The team was attentive and flexible, accommodating every request and managing even the smallest details with intention. Paige's communication was clear, kind, and prompt, making planning as seamless as wedding planning can be! We truly could not recommend The Woolworth enough to any couple looking for a unique, beautifully designed venue with an incredible team behind it!
The Woolworth was/is my dream venue. The white-painted brick and hardwood floors are so dreamy, and we loved how guests could look out onto the Old Market. We loved having our wedding in one of Omaha’s best areas and showing our guests why we love the city. The venue team was responsive, informative and patient — no venue drama here! Highly recommend The Woolworth for a gorgeous wedding.
I had my daughters Quiencenera here! It was absolutely beautiful. As the mother of the quince, my brain was all over the place. It was great not to have to worry about the small stuff. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the decorations were fantastic. They had connections for food venders, djs, photography and tons more. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for any event. The bridal suite made it super convenient for the girls to get ready that morning and get ready for pictures as well as freshen up before the event. There is so much to say about this place but just know it’s so worth it!!!!
