Highly recommend this place for a watch repair. Took my husband’s Rolex in for Repairs, Employee fixed in under 10 minutes. excellent customer service, reliable, and quick service. I definitely will be returning for further service when needed! Thank you again for all your help.
Came here for what should have been a 15 second fix. Guy was extremely rude and dismissive. My watch touched a strong electromagnet at work (I'm an electrical engineer) and after that begin moving strangely. I told him this and he insisted that it was dead and needed a new battery. Guy must be on crack - as you can see in the video, the watch second hand is clearly moving back and forth: how can it be dead?! What made me walk out was when he defensively said, "You don't know anything about watches" and then laughed in my face.
I have had my watches looked by World Time for a few decades since when they were located opposite Valley fair. Recently I had to I had my 1980's Omega Constellation Porthole Marine serviced here (2023). I dropped by to have the watch looked at as it stopped running and needed a new battery (2025). The younger guy who helped me out even remember the watch from the initial service. (sorry forgot his name). The place is very clean and well laid out. Interestingly it shares the space and a parking lot with a nail salon. The lot can get pretty full. Website was down when I wrote this review. I wanted to check the hours but went in on a Monday after 10 am. From the door it looks like it's open Mon-Sat from 10am to 7pm. They service all watches - even Patek Philippe! There are surprisingly few high-end independent watch repair shops in the South Bay, so I am glad these folks are here!
I spoke with a very kind and knowledgeable individual about repairs regarding my Bulova Accutron Spaceview watch. He was awesome and he gave me an initial estimate for repairs and service. I have yet to send my watch in. When I do I in will send it to Word Time. 👍
I needed a replacement watch band and drove all around town to a couple watch repair shops, they charged over $50 for the band. I have purchased bands from watch supply stores before and knew the cost was well below that, so I drove across town to my old faithful shop, World Time. I got the band and they installed it for well below the retail price for the band. Great service and great value!
