We had an excellent experience hosting our daughter's 2nd birthday party and gender reveal for baby #2 at this venue. Jay was extremely accommodating to all our needs in creating the vision we had for our party. The open vendor policy was a huge plus which was one of the main reasons we went with this venue. I loved the freedom and flexibility when it came to planning the event. The venue itself is huge. We had more than enough room for a balloon backdrop, kids jumper, ball pit, coffee cart, and 10 round tables for guests. We definitely recommend this venue for any large event.
We used this venue for our baby shower, and it went great! Everyone loved the venue. I personally loved the versatility of the space, with a bar and sound system inside, and the taco truck and lawn games outside. We coordinated our event with Jay, and he was such a help! He was always available to chat, provided day of help with setting up, and breaking down the party. We would definitely recommend Yard & Sea for your next event
I am so sorry this took so long to get around to writing, but LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT YARD & SEA!!!! This was the best event space and team EVER!!! Jason and his team made everything so easy, from planning, meetings, help with vendors, staff over seeing the event, setup/take down and fulfilling all of our needs even before we asked or before we knew we needed it. What ever we imagined, Jason and his team worked tirelessly to make it a reality and exceeded our expectations far beyond what we expected. The communication was excellent and all needs were constantly met throughout planning process and event. Even after the event they still made sure that we were taken care of and satisfied with the way things turned out.Jason and his team helped create a core memory not only for my son's high school graduation, but for a lifetime. Thank you Jason, Andrea, Quinn and the rest of the team for making such a beautiful memory for our family and friends. Can't wait to work together again. For any events I plan in the future, I will always check with Yard & Sea first.
AMAZING JAY was so helpful this was San Diego‘s first Lash festival and the turnout was amazing. Any questions I had he was able to answer or any problems I had he quickly fixed them!! 10 out of 10 recommend definitely will be coming back to host another event.
We had our wedding here, and I can't tell you enough how glad we are that we did. We went to visit Jay 8 months before the big day, just to get a feel of the place, and we instantly connected with him. It can seem kind of odd to have your wedding/event at a gym, but he really is a master at transforming the space to whatever you need it to be. Jay also helped facilitate bar and food service, both which were affordable and great. For the price we paid, I feel this experience exceeded our expectations. Jay also helped decorate the venue, and make it look like the dream wedding we've always wanted. I would highly recommend going through is vendors, as he helps take care of all the planning and payments and, coordinating for them. He also is very flexible, as on the day before, we were still able to add an additional vendor to the premises. He's a great event planner that offers affordable packages for your big day, and I'd highly recommend going with him. We couldn't be any happier with our wedding, and have him to thank for helping run this event as smooth as possible. In case you're skeptical of what Jay can transform the space in, I'll attach some photos.
