The YogaSix location on Prospect Ave is the best yoga studio I’ve been to. All of the team members are an absolute delight, the environment is welcoming and inclusive, the classes are phenomenal, and the temperature is perfect. Many yoga studios and gyms operate with an atmosphere of elitism and exclusivity, whereas I consistently feel welcomed and respected at YogaSix. There are a wide variety of classes offered and there is even variety between different versions of the same class - Sculpt and Power are my favorites. If you get bored from doing the same Power Flow routine every class, check this place out! Like I said, all of the team members are wonderful, but several stand out to me: I swear Chantelle has remembered my name since my first day of class and always greets me as if I made her day by arriving to class, which makes me feel really special. Madison’s Power classes are incredibly immersive, unique, and challenging, and the Yoga lessons she shares during them nearly bring me to (happy) tears. She is so well spoken and creative. Mary’s Power and Restore classes are excellent and a great chance to meditate and reflect. Charlee’s Sculpt classes literally make me feel invincible like I can do anything (lol). Signing up for a membership here was one of my best decisions of 2025 and it really comes down to how special and dedicated all of the employees are. The only minor change I would make is I wish they had mirrors on all of the walls of the studios so I could see my form from multiple angles (but this is a very minor inconvenience).
I love YogaSix. I’ve tried yoga at many other places and YogaSix is the best. I’ve dropped in on 6 classes now and all the instructors were good, besides one but she was new and it was her first class (not her fault). What I like about YogaSix is that the classes respect the fundamentals of the practice. The instructors use correct pose names, give clear cues, and teach in a way that feels grounded, safe, and anatomically intelligent. You always know what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how to do it correctly. If the class starts at 7:30 and you arrive at 7:30, you are late. That’s your fault. Just like any studio, you need to come 5, 10 even 15 minutes early like everyone else does. What I appreciate about this studio is the exact fact that they have more standards and expectations. It keeps the studio premium for everyone else. In comparison, my regular gym is not a proper studio so they are loose and let people come and go after the class has started and it ruins the experience. This is why people pay more money to come here and be around more serious yogis. Sorry but no one wants to hear your keys jingling and mat slapping down as you look for a space after everyone else has already started.
I showed up at 7:30 pm on the dot after a long long week where exercise was MUCH needed and the door was locked and the front desk told me I wasn't allowed in. They said it's a newer policy. It was still 7:30. I got there at 7:30. The class i booked before this (again one i was able to squeeze in my schedule as they don't offer a ton of times) was cancelled a few hours before. The class before that the room was packed to the point that our mats were almost touching. When i signed up at this place I had a good impression but l've been disappointed lately. Looking at other studios.
I’ve been going to YogaSix for almost five years now, and after trying dozens of studios around the country, it’s still the one I keep coming back to. I was honestly hesitant at first—doing yoga in a room full of people wasn’t exactly in my comfort zone—but the instructors and staff here made it feel comfortable from day one. No ego, no weird energy—just a genuinely welcoming place to move, breathe, and get better. It’s become a kind of refuge for me. Over the years, it’s helped keep me physically strong and mentally steady. I’ve been to great studios in different cities, but none have matched how consistent, balanced, and grounded this place is. YogaSix just gets it—and for anyone looking for something real, this is it.
I always feel so great after taking Katie's class at Yoga6! Definitely recommend checking out one of her classes! The heat is just right, yogasix staff is so welcoming, and love that they have a spacious dressing room / showers to rinse off afterwards!
