I had lunch here, from the initial excitement to disappointment with the service. The waiter was nice. However, a big issue was that we reached the place first and had our order already. The next table came later, but their food was served first, with full meals, while we had to wait around 30 minutes for the food to come. It isn't very sensible for everyone who wants to have lunch and go back to work. Additionally, rice comes together with a meal. But they were bringing it 15 minutes earlier which made the rice dry and hard to eat, meanwhile main course was still somewhere Will not be back again :).
The food was quite pricey indefinitely not up to standards taste wise as well as visually. I ordered Bulgogi and chicken fried rice. The Bulgogi had no flavor and had carrots and celery in there. I’ve never had Bulgogi with carrots and celery, and the meat is like ground beef and my chicken fried rice was burnt.
The inside is very nice. I really liked the ambiance. The food was good but not great. The biggest issue I had was when the server brought me the bill and it included the gratuity. The gratuity was 20% for a party of 5 which i found very weird. When I asked her about it, she said it was policy. I decided to look into this more and found that it actually calls for gratuity to be included for a party of 6 not 5. This is a very dishonest practice that will unfortunately turn me away from this location
3.7 stars. Driven by here for nearly a decade and finally stopped in. Quiet, dimly lit dining area with upstairs seating too. Server was friendly though very soft spoken. Ordered the Calamari ($9.99) for appetizer which we enjoyed. Wife had the Chicken Bibimbap ($13.99) which was just right. I tried the Pork Spicy Soft-Tofu Soup ($13.99) which was super hot so it needed a bit of time to cool off. The banchan that accompanied it was varied and tasty. All-in for dinner with tip was $53.
In town for work and wanted some comfort food. Ordered for takeout, food was prepared quickly. The shop is so cute and the ambiance is very calming for dine in. Service was great. Food was delicious and piping hot. Pickled vegetables to complement the rest. Would recommend !!
