I got a shellac manicure and pedicure. I didn’t do anything fancy, and got the second cheapest pedicure (deluxe) for $45. Somehow my total ended up being $98 (before tip!)… my shellac manicure was done in less than 15 minutes which made me highly suspicious. I ended up being right because 5 days later they started peeling- which is VERY disappointing considering I was getting these done for my honeymoon. My pedicure is fine, just my nails suck. I saw one of the gentleman (with the non-dyed hair). I moved here in the summer, so I’m still trying to find my “home” nail place, and it won’t be this one.
Two stars is generous and only because she did a great job on my ingrown toenails on my big toes. Other than that, if customer service or actually having something done that you asked for is important to you I would skip this joint. I specifically asked her to round my toenails when she got done clipping. She filed exactly 3 out of 10 toenails. I have no idea why she stopped but she seemed like she was in a really pissy mood so I chose not to say anything. So now I have super sharp edges that I'm going to have to go home and take care of myself. In addition to all of that I got only two coats of nail polish. So basically a waste of $45 plus the $10 tip.
So I barely get my nails done and me and my group of friends decided to go here and I feel like they just rushed to do everything even a simple nail polish on my toes was rushed and they didn’t take off the smeared nail polish. Then I got a dip powder and they didn’t even do my cuticles or anything before they just started drilling and applying the powder and I had chunks of dried powder under my nails and all around all my skin of the nail and the lady told me I could just pick it off And just not done like they didn’t take pride in there work what so ever felt like it was all rushed to get you in and out of the door and maybe they take pride in the stuff they do maybe for the regulars but very very disappointed . and my daughter got a pedicure, which is regular polish and she had spots missing from all over her toes. I could’ve just paid no money and did it at home by myself. The cleanliness of the place is a -1. I normally don’t leave reviews when I’m unhappy with the service. I just don’t go back to that place but maybe I should read the views and did it myself but no thank you. And the photos I put after she picked the stuff off that I asked her to and went home and showered and cleaned them up myself even more
I used to come here all the time when I was in college, so I decided to come back now that I’m older. We came for my sister to get her nails done before the baby arrives, and when we walked in, we were taken immediately, which was amazing! David did a fantastic job with my pedicure and was very attentive—if you’re coming here for a pedicure, definitely ask for him! However, I did notice some inconsistencies. We all ordered the same packages, but each of us experienced something different. The package was supposed to include orange slices to remove dead skin and calluses, but none of us received that. As more customers started coming in, it felt like our services were being rushed to accommodate others. My sister’s toe was cut during her pedicure, and both of our manicure paint jobs were uneven. The nail tech working on my hands seemed rushed and didn’t take the time to properly push back my cuticles. The painting process was also quick, which left some patchy spots and made my nails look like they’d already grown out a bit. Should I have spoken up in the moment? Absolutely. But I was caught off guard by how quickly everything was being done, and with my sister being pregnant, I didn’t want her to have to wait on me. The biggest issue for me was the hygiene. They didn’t use disposable bags in the pedicure basins, and for my manicure, the nail tech used the other side of a used nail file. That felt very unhygienic in my opinion. Especially not for $196 for two gel mani/pedis. We did however tip because we still received a service which brought our total up to $215 but we unfortunately won’t be coming back. I do not feel we received the best return on our investment. Overall, I loved the variety of color options. If you’re looking for something quick and are in college or just want the experience, it’s fine—but make sure you feel comfortable speaking up and asking them to take their time. After all, you’re paying for it!
The service here is horrible. The nail tech cut my cuticles and they were bleeding. The nails are uneven, crooked, they wouldn’t even finish putting a top coat of gel on my right hand. I had to place band aids on 3 of my finger nails cause my cuticles were bleeding and they are still sore. This salon is not clean and I would not advise anyone to go here. How is my nail split after 20 minutes of getting them done? I will be reporting them to the state. This place needs to be shut down look at all the reviews.
