I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The tattoo work was absolutely amazing—clean lines, beautiful shading, and so much attention to detail. Beyond the talent, the artist has such a cool, smart, and genuinely nice personality that immediately makes you feel comfortable. He’s laid-back and easy to talk to, but at the same time completely professional and focused when it comes to his craft. You can really tell he care about the art and about giving you the best possible result. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-quality work with an artist who makes the whole process enjoyable!
Great spot for a Japanese theme tattoo! Owner of this place certainly knows how to make a design unique for each person. The color choices used in my tattoo go together well and I would definitely come back to this place if I ever get another tattoo.
**Review of Zero One Ink: A Master of Traditional Japanese Tattooing** I had the privilege of getting tattooed by Zero One Ink, and it was nothing short of a transformative experience. Specializing in traditional Japanese Irezumi, Zero One Ink combines masterful technique, a deep understanding of cultural symbolism, and a personal touch that makes each tattoo a work of art. Expertise and Skill From the moment I walked into the studio, it was clear that Zero One Ink is a true master of their craft. Every detail, from the consultation to the execution, reflected a high level of professionalism and artistry. Their designs—whether it be koi fish, dragons, or samurai—are beautifully balanced and intricate. What sets Zero One Ink apart is their deep knowledge of the cultural significance behind each element in traditional Japanese tattoos. You’re not just getting inked; you’re becoming a part of a living tradition. Tebori Technique I chose to get my tattoo done using the traditional tebori method, a hand-poking technique that’s become rare in modern times. Zero One Ink is one of the few artists skilled in this ancient art form. The process was surprisingly less painful than I anticipated, and the result was unlike anything I’ve seen with machine work. The tebori method gave the tattoo a softer, more natural look, especially with the shading and gradients. The rich blacks, deep blues, and subtle greys seemed to flow into one another seamlessly, giving the design a sense of depth and movement that is impossible to replicate by machine. Artistic Vision and Custom Designs Zero One Ink is not just a tattoo artist but a true visionary. He took my ideas and transformed them into a design that was better than I could have ever imagined. Every aspect of the tattoo—from the composition to the colors—was carefully considered. I appreciated how he explained the cultural and symbolic meanings of each element in the design, ensuring that I left not only with a beautiful tattoo but with a deeper appreciation for Japanese culture. Studio Experience The private studio itself was a reflection of his attention to detail. It was clean, peaceful, and felt more like an art studio than a typical tattoo parlor. The atmosphere made the whole experience more relaxing, allowing me to fully trust the artist and enjoy the process. Final Result The finished tattoo exceeded all my expectations. The koi fish I had done symbolizes perseverance, and paired with a dragon to represent power, it feels like a complete story etched into my skin. The tebori technique brought out a depth in the shading that I’ve never seen in any other tattoo. It's a design that I know will age beautifully over time. Conclusion If you're looking for a Japanese tattoo that embodies both artistry and tradition, Zero One Ink is the person to go to. Their skill with the tebori technique and their deep understanding of Japanese culture make every tattoo a personalized masterpiece. I couldn’t recommend them more highly—this is more than just a tattoo; it’s a lifelong work of art.
I cannot articulate how much I LOVE my full arm sleeve tattoo. I have been wanting this tattoo for over a decade and spent several months researching to find an artist. I just had my 10th and final session and the end product is everything I ever wanted and more. Adrian is highly skilled in the design and application of Japanese traditional tattoos, especially with the use of tebori. His knowledge is second to none and he is a true master of his craft. I am honored to wear his artwork and I cannot recommend Adrian and Zero One Ink enough.
I had a life changing experience with a traditional irezumi sleeve with Hikae. If you are fortunate enough to get a booking, Adrian really does deliver on his promise to give you the tattoo of your dreams. I gave him the overview of each character and he put his artwork into motion. His Tebori work really brings each character to life. After many months, my journey has come to an end. But I am grateful I had this done and made a good friend along the way.
