I've come to this gym over the last two yrs. Hands down the best 24hr fitness in houston and surrounding areas( Houston Heightssuper sport). It's always clean and they're constantly improving things within the gym. The staff has always been great and helpful when needed. Big thanks to Destiny for her help today.
I’ve had a great experience at 24 Hour Fitness, especially from the moment you walk in the door. Jules and Nina at the front desk consistently provide outstanding customer service. They’re welcoming, professional, and always make you feel valued as a member. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, help with questions, or just positive energy to start a workout, they set the tone for the entire gym experience. The facility stays busy but well-managed, and having staff like Jules and Nina makes a big difference. Their attitude and professionalism truly represent the brand well. Great gym with a solid atmosphere. The equipment is well maintained, and there’s plenty of space even during busy hours. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the gym stays pretty clean. One of my favorite locations.
Registered for a 3 day guest pass and it said all I need to do is present ID. This club wanted me to have a seat and wait until one of the 10 agents sitting there could attend to me. Had me sitting there for a while so I go and check on it. Guy says he’ll attend to me in a minute and kept me waiting. A older lady finally comes and she wanted me to do a walk around and sit down afterward to talk about memberships. I didn’t have much time and just wanted to workout to see if I liked it. I understand the gym has a process but that should be stated when signing up for the guest pass. I asked roughly how long it would take and she wouldn’t give me a clear answer. Then insist I just pay the monthly amount to buy a 3 day guest pass if I want to try it! I shouldn’t be questioned like I’m up to something for a 3 day gym pass at a budget gym, give me a break. Again, if you’re going to give a free pass, make sure you include all the requirements to obtain that pass. I didn’t have an hour to spare taking a tour and talking with the staff. Please state your contingencies on the pass to save people from wasting their time. The staff is also unprofessional making faces to each other for something that was a nonissue. Imagine how they handle actual issues. I hadnt disrespected any of them but they came off judgemental, unfriendly, and aggressive with me. I felt unwelcome and had just walked through the door. I Spoke to 3 different members. The young man told me I could leave and the older lady was quite argumentative with a prospective customer. I guess they pick and choose who they want to show respect to. Im sure if I was from a different demographic they’d find their sense and professionalism. Won’t be back and for sure won’t ever spend a dime with 24 hr fitness. *See attached photo on how misleading the 3 day guest pass requirements are. This occurred on 12/08/2025 at approximately 2 p.m.
Now that I’ve had time to cool down from last night, I want to share my thoughts more calmly. The decision to shut down the basketball courts at 10 PM due to one person's actions felt unfair. We've seen other situations where members were clearly not following the rules, yet no action was taken to shut down those areas or penalize others. We would appreciate having the corporate contact number so we can voice our concerns in hopes of seeing real change. I did revise my review recently because, as of last week, a new staff member has been doing a great job keeping the facility clean which is much needed. Malik has been very understanding and informative about both the gym’s products and the concerns I’ve shared. Last night felt like a slap in the face when the court lights were shut off abruptly at 10 PM, forcing everyone to leave despite us actively playing. However, this morning, Malik took the time to hear me out, and his response helped me feel a lot better. I just ask that management make regular rounds through the common areas to ensure things are running smoothly and all members are following the rules. That kind of consistency would go a long way. Being we have paid our yearly fee to be consistent here . Literally has done a 360 . The cleaning guy deserves 5 stars. And the overall ambiance is good in there
