TLDR - avoid the "Go to the Yâbe" room; three of the puzzles malfunctioned. The puzzles rely heavily on padlocks and less on physical puzzles. --- We are experienced escape room players (around 20 rooms under our belt) and were disappointed with our second experience at À Double Tour. The "Go to the Yâbe" room was undoubtedly great when it was first created, but it's now outdated. We wasted a lot of time trying to open the first padlock, even though we had found the correct combination. The attendant came and pulled very hard on the padlock to open it, much harder than the recommended force for this type of game. For the second padlock, we also immediately found the correct combination, but it didn't work. We weren't told that this type of directional padlock needs to be reset between attempts, so we wasted time there as well. The game assistant spent a lot of time before the game explaining other, much simpler elements, but not how this type of padlock worked. The third element that didn't work was a series of jars that needed to be positioned to open a door. We got the audio cue that it had worked, but the door wouldn't open. Another wasted time. Furthermore, several pieces of scenery were broken in the attic room. We initially wondered if this was part of the game or if they were simply broken, and the conclusion was that they were. A spoon was also broken in the last room. After our first visit, we purchased two discounted tickets for a second room. Not only were we sent only one discount code instead of two, but we weren't told that not all the costs were covered by the code. We were therefore surprised to have to pay an additional amount when booking. When we called to clarify, the explanations weren't clear and implied that the discount was less than 25%, as promised. Ultimately, after adding the amount paid on-site to the amount paid online, the discount was indeed 25%. The place is less clean than the other escape rooms we've visited. On the plus side, the staff are friendly, the sets are engaging, and the ending of the Alice room is original.

Dead zone today, at 3. Needed help, but the pleasure is in making progress, so the help was welcome, and the setting is great. Lots of rooms to discover.

So FUN!! We'll do all the rooms eventually!

Escape rooms are great, but the answers to some puzzles are only in French (and not in English). My family, who are English-speaking, didn't understand certain aspects of the game.

A fantastic experience. The escape games are great, and the staff are dedicated, welcoming, and really get into the spirit of things!

The Dead Zone is absolutely perfect. A great mix of difficulty and puzzles: padlocks, magnets, passwords. Thank you so much for the experience!
