The Academy of Ballet Arts delivered a truly wonderful performance of The Nutcracker on Saturday, 2025 at the Palladium. The hard work and dedication that goes into managing a cast of such varying ages was evident from start to finish, resulting in a show that was both enjoyable and impressively professional. Clare, portrayed by Lillian Stephenson, gave an outstanding performance, bringing grace, warmth, and charm to the role. The entire cast blended beautifully, moving through each scene with cohesion and confidence. The production’s simple, tasteful props allowed the dancers to shine without distraction—and shine they certainly did. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable evening.

My daughter had a ballet placement class. In the water break, she came out, said "I want to go here! The teacher is really nice!" Attended the Musical Theater class following, my tiny dancer is super pumped now! Decision made. 🤗🤸💃

The ABA is not some silly little dance studio; it is a professional and well-run studio with instructors who are serious about dance. Ms. P. taught my daughter for several years both at PCCA and at ABA. Her passion for dance comes through in the quality of her instruction and is evident in the number of professional dancers she has turned out. As to the issue of the parking: if you don't have enough self-discipline to obey parking signs, you should stay home. You are not setting a good example by venting about the ABA when you have never been associated with it in any fashion. Furthermore, the parking spaces outside the ABA were paid for by the Academy. So, just like you can have someone towed if they park in your driveway, ABA can have you towed if you park in spaces designated for their pupils and the parents.

This institution has given me the best training I could’ve asked for. The teachers and staff are like a second family to me and we are so close to them. It’s a very comfortable environment where I have made life long friends. I recommend attending this studio you will be welcomed with big arms and amazing teachers!

I have grown up at ABA since I was 3 years old and I've always loved it. I am now a freshman in high school and I still look forward to going to class everyday. The teachers truly care about your improvement and the staff is highly educated. It is an amazing experience to be in productions with ABA, as I've been in over 20 major productions with the studio. I would recommend this studio to anyone who is truly serious about pursuing a career in dance!
