Took car to get Caninter purge valve fixed.. worked good for a few weeks now it’s acting weird. I called them and was told for another $150 I can bring it up to be diagnosed. I said why would I pay it again, she said you’re having a new issue.. no maam.. it’s the same issue. Not great customer service. Not to mention.. they close at 5.. not 5:30.. didn’t tell me that until 4:50 to see if I was “on my way”

TOMMY WAS VERY HONEST WITH ME !!! I recently had an issue with my car's air conditioning and initially thought it was a leak or that the compressor needed to be replaced. (My current mechanic is 3 hrs away and being im new to the area i was hesitate on finding someone that would be honest )However, it turned out to be just a wiring issue. Tommy was incredibly honest and transparent with me—he could have taken advantage of the situation, but he didn’t. I truly appreciate his integrity. The business has been family-owned for 24 years, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality and service. Sue, his mom, is also very kind and welcoming. This will definitely be my go-to place for any future repairs! Idk why it was negative reviews Because today was my 1st time there and I didn't feel uncomfortable not one bit. Update ⚠️ Honest Review — Please Read Before You Go I originally left a great review, but I spoke too soon. Now that I’ve had time to process the full experience, I want to be transparent for anyone thinking about taking their car here. When I first visited, Tommy was wonderful — professional, respectful, and honest. His mother was also kind and welcoming. But when I returned for my inspection, things went downhill. The father came in and said, “It looks like I might have to give you a reject sticker, but since we’re in the middle of the month, I’ll keep your inspection sticker on. Once you get that repaired — once I repair it — I’ll give you your new inspection sticker.” That same day, he told me I needed a strut replacement that would cost over $600 including labor and parts. The only time he even acknowledged me was to tell me that. Beyond that, he and the oldest son didn’t greet me, make eye contact, or show basic courtesy — which honestly made me uncomfortable. I later spoke with my own trusted mechanic — someone who’s been building and repairing engines for years — and he confirmed that my strut was perfectly fine. So not only did I feel dismissed, but I was also told I needed a repair that wasn’t actually necessary. Here’s my honest advice: if you’re not being helped by Tommy, pay close attention to how you’re treated and what you’re told needs to be repaired. Tommy and his mother are the reason I even gave this shop a chance, and they deserve recognition for their professionalism. Unfortunately, that level of respect and honesty wasn’t consistent across the board.

I want to give a BIG appreciation to Mr. Johnny. I’ve had my car repaired twice at his repair shop. His service is fair, honest, and professional. During my first visit he met me at the entrance and was so friendly while patiently listening to my story. My SUV was vandalized severely. My car’s paint job, came with delicate repairs to include a few other things he threw in, were impeccable . My second return to his shop was because of a hit and run accident. He quickly recovered my insurance claim information so I could get my car back sooner than expected so I could enjoy my holiday. I was so happy. Along with his great service my vehicle is vacuumed, cleaned inside and out and he guarantees ALL his repairs as always. I HIGHLY recommend Affordable Repair Services. I will add that he will work with your budget and is extremely fair. I am a very satisfied customer. 😀
