I WASTED MY MONEY SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO This was my first time using a moving service in general but if I have to ever again you can bet your bottom dollar I will never think to go with this company again DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND NEED FULL SERVICE To put it into perspective I was moving a 2b/2bath place that was only half packed. The day started out strong and the guys (3) were so cheerful and encouraging saying things like “no worries, we’ve packed entire homes before, we’re strong and fast” Well… that promise only lasted two hours. Then they significantly slowed down, started giving attitude, and making excuses for what they didn’t want to move. Once they loaded everything that was already packed the main guy started getting passive aggressive and wanting to LEAVE to drop off only the stuff that was initially packed and half of the furniture I had to ask him twice and then confirmed with his supervisor to ensure the team was able to help us pack as well but at this point they kept giving us attitude AND started packing without an ounce of care in the world THEY DAMAGED MORE STUFF THAN THEY PACKED Seriously, 75% of the boxes were moved upside down or stacked without care. The boxes were stacked from lightest on the bottom to heaviest on top every time. They had heavy boxes labeled “books” on top of my boxes labeled “computer/ work desk/ pillows” with the boxes stacked on the bottom getting destroyed under the weight. I just expected so much more from a paid service I saw one guy take a container of batteries, EMPTY them into another box, and then throw the plastic container inside?? Another guy said they couldn’t take shelves out of walls (which is fine, tell me upfront) but then another guy ripped the rack right out of the wall anyways! They also said they didn’t “move plants” but apparently that extends to empty vases as well and they left almost all the ceramic/ stone vases that were meant to be moved They started poorly packing the truck so it was full before all our stuff was loaded and when they transported things into the new place they scuffed up the front door and left marks all over the walls. The guys made it seem like they didn’t want to do a second trip since they kept saying it wasn’t possible but we had to again confirm with their supervisor that we needed all the stuff moved in that day and it was possible if a second trip was needed. To this, the guys continued with their bad vibes (minus Mikey who was insanely cheery all day, it was great) and started saying they don’t have time to finish- even though they never communicated we had a cut off time for them to go take their truck back. In fact, they had humble bragged earlier in the day about how they “sometimes stay up until 0400 moving” other homes. Not only that but they told me and my family different times they needed to be back by so it felt dishonest more than anything. AS IF THAT WAS BAD ENOUGH - THE ACTUAL COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF We used FOUR of their name brand boxes (even though we asked the movers not to since we had plenty of boxes available that we purchased) and they charged us EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS for those supplies alone When we tried to talk to management about it they were difficult and uncompromising. 12/10 would recommend never even entertaining wasting your money or time with this company
Everything went exceptionally well. I called on Tuesday they were available to move me on Friday. They to good care of my belongings and got me moved on short notice. Malik, Aaron, Isoel were very nice and efficient. I will definitely use them again. Thanks Mr. Wright for taking care of me.
Rob, Aime, and Brandon were outstanding! After a terrible experience with another moving company, All My Sons was 100% better in every way. They handled everything with exceptional care, taking time to protect both the pickup and drop-off locations. The local office even called mid-move to check that everything was going smoothly - that’s genuine customer service! Their professionalism and attention to detail made our move stress-free. Highly recommend All My Sons Movers - this team goes above and beyond!
Very professional and caring. I decided to downsize and sold my 4 bd home of 17 years. This experience has sentimental significance and the movers were pleasant and handled everything with care and consideration. My move was last minute and a somewhat big job but it was money well spent. Very affordable.
This location (RALEIGH) only received 1 star because you have to select 1 to post....We hired this location to move us 8 minutes away on September 20, 2025. We also used my truck and hauled things about 4-5 times to the new place. There was not much that needed to be moved after that. There was only 2 things that had to be taken apart; 1 bed and the desk was partially taken apart! May I add neither of the 2 were wrapped and both were damaged! The desk has cracks/scrapes, and missing pieces & the bed has screw holes drilled from the inside through outside of it, leaving visible holes and the bed also have chipped wood and is not sturdy. I have 4 degree frames that were not in a box nor wrapped, they were brought in by hand & all are destroyed. MAY I also mention this turned into a 2 day (9 hours all together) process that should have only been maybe a 4 hour process stated in the words of the 2 employees that came on day 2! The day 1 employees did not follow company policy in regard to wrapping and boxing all items. When the 2 employees on day 2 came they stated multiple times that they were "Embarrassed" and "Upset" that the 2 employees before damaged items, left the truck a mess, and they also stated "These are the only items you guys have?" we stated "yes" and they then said "There is no way they should have taken 6.5 hours...They stated they would love to know what they did on the clock to run the time up. DOT also called and stated on day 1 the 2 employees had already reached the legal amount of hours someone can work so they were only allowed to bring our mattress and tv because we asked so we did not have to sleep on the floor.....The guy in charge "John" stated for an 8 minute drive it took the 2 guys 1 hour and 15 minutes to drive 8 mins, bring the mattress and tv in, and us to sign forms....I can assure it did NOT take that long! I spoke with John again on September 23rd and he stated the longest things for our move was the bed and wrapping/boxing items....So I told him; If the bed is the longest how did the 2 on day 2 have half the items and bed fully put together minus the wood slacks being placed in an hour of my partner and I being gone what took the 2 employees on day 1 6.5 hours when they didn't wrap most items and taking a bed apart is easier and quicker than putting it together when you don't have instructions for sure. John had nothing to say he just stated to file a claim....Based on the fact the 2 employees from day 1 didn't follow company policy and damage multple items due to that....I believe they purposely ran the time up or falsified truck data etc.....there is no way it took 6.5 hours one day then when our items were brought on day 2 it took maybe 2.5 hours....mind you the employees on day 2 also cleaned the truck up that was left unorganized with the company supplies from the 2 from day 1during the time that we were charged for.....We were charged about $2,500 for an 8 minute move.....we only had a few boxes downstairs from the living room and kitchen, the couch, and super small dining table that wasn't taken apart, a few boxes and container from the bedroom and office, office desk, one bed! No way should that have taken 10 hours (6.5 on day one and 2.5 hours day two)....6.5 + 2.5=9 hours....we were originally being charged for 10 hours until I stood up for us and John then said he'd take 1 hour off this was before we even knew items were damaged and before the day 2 employees even worked! As I stated before they did company work on the 9 hour time as well.....So overall we were charged for time that is unaccounted for and several items were damaged! All they are trying to offer is $300.....The degree frames alone are $100 to replace....the desk that has missing piece and cracks and damages is $280....and the bed that now has visible damages that I'm not sure can be repaired only replaced that's $1,282....Neither of those damaged items were wrapped or boxed! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ANY LOCATION.....
