I have been dealing with my iPhone 16 since September. My phone rings when it wants to people try to call me and it won’t ring . Went to Apple Store in providence twice . Second time they send that they replace the inside and that my phone is fine . Well guess what that BS my phone is still doing the same thing . They did nothing to help me . I have been dealing with this since September 2025 .
Apple store at providence place were really helpful when I went for genius bar appointment Joel really fixed the issue and also explained me the latest features of the iphone in detail. Great experience also apple products are built to last. 🤩
Unfortunately this store does not know what they are doing for tech support. Perhaps this is typical of their stores. I am a Windows/Android guy but the rest of my family is Apple. During a recent Ipad update to my daughter's device it decided to brick itself in the middle of the firmware update. Thus creating it completely unusable. I tried everything for two days to fix the issue to no avail. Tried connecting it to Itunes, and Apple Devices, tried different laptops, and also USB cords. Nothing would work. I made the appointment and brought it down and showed them the error code. Told them everything I had tried. They informed me that the Ipad was no longer usable and I needed to purchase a new one! This was disheartening as it was literally their IOS that was updating when it went down. They still blamed me stating that it only was a 1 year warranty on it. I tried to plead my case it was not a hardware issue and was only brought on by "their software". They explained to me I didn't even have Applecare and I was out of luck. While I again explained to them it was their issue and their software that caused the firmware to become defective, Janet (manager) could have cared less. I asked for the regional manager's contact info to which I was denied. They gave me a generic apple support phone number. These people literally read off of a script and do not have any brain power to diagnose an issue that is not a cracked screen. I returned home defeated to only solidify my belief in how poor Apple products truly are. Hence, my affection with Android! I did some more research and found a product called Dr Fone made by Wondershare. I was skeptical at first but after installing the software and running it it was able to roll back the firmware and re-install IOS. Huge Win for me! I do not really care about the 50 bucks I spent on the software but it is pretty pathetic that they could not correct the issue there. All-in-all highly recommend that software and staying out of that store and apple products. Trying to attach a pic of my paperwork but not working. The store is quite big, huge variety of Apple products and accessories on display. With larger display tables, customers can experience almost all of Apple products being offered including iPhones, MacBooks, Apple Watches etc. the staff are nice and friendly, and usually a lot of them are available to assist the purchases. It’s advised to check availability of items in stock before making a visit to this store especially if you are traveling from far. The Genius Bar at this store is also quite large and again an appointment is recommended before brining in any Apple product for servicing. The store is located on the first shopping level of this huge mall.
