Fun and quick classes. I notice my 2 year old is actually improving and learning skills important for safety. She can almost float on her back, she can swim up to the surface after jumping in, she can find the wall, and she can inch along the wall by herself to get to the stairs. The coaches are fun and sweet.
Highly recommend Aqua-tots! Love all thr instructors. My kids look forward to their lessons. The front desk staff is extremely accommodating when it comes to multiple kids and juggling a busy schedule as a parent. My kids are so much more confident in the water!
I absolutely love this place!!! I was super nervous about starting my daughter in swim lessons, but Aqua Tots made me feel safe! The staff there treat my daughter and I like family! We can sit there and have a conversation as if we are life time friends!🤍 The way they all show love to her makes my mama heart so happy. When we walk in every single time they greet her with open arms and so so much love! My daughter has Coach Jon and she LOVES him so so much. Everytime it is a swim day she’s always saying “I see Coach Jon today!!” 🥰 The patience he has with the kids and the excited look on his face when my daughter (or other kids) gets something we have been working on just makes my heart so happy. I will forever recommend Coach Jon & Aqua TOTs to all of my friends!!! Love this place & the staff so much. They have truly become a part of my family.🤍
The coaches are amazing. Very patient and give instruction that’s easy to follow. They’re very encouraging and positive. We love how much fun the kids have and everyone is so nice. I’ve never felt my kids are unsafe in the water. And it’s such a relief to know they can get out of trouble if we’re around a pool or water. I only wish I had done it sooner. The facility is impeccably clean and kept in very good condition. They are mopping and cleaning all the time so no standing water. The availability of classes is occasionally a challenge to have two swimmers at the same time (and one we get in the pool with because she’s less than 2 years old) in different levels of swim but it’s manageable and they make it very accommodating to get them together as much as possible. I can’t say how much my kids love swim because of Aqua-Tots. It’s truly become our favorite activity each week over soccer, dance, etc. it’s also very easy to schedule make up classes around our changing schedules with other activities and working full time schedules of both parents. The value for how much they learn is so worth it. They make swimming fun but also very functional and practical. If we lived closer, we’d probably be there every day they’re open. Update April 2024 Our family loves Aquatots on Bryant Irvin. My now 3 and 6 year old have been coming 1-3 times a week since Aug 2022. Originally we were coming to get safety basics like how to float, get to the walk, etc and not be afraid of water. However, we've stayed for almost 2 years now because we love it so much. They got the safety stuff down very quickly because we started with a frequent visit (3 classes each week) and the skills that actually teach them how to properly swim is what I was not expecting to love but actually do! My youngest started in the class where the parents get in the water with the kid and by 30 months old, she was really doing most of the skills independent of me. I honestly thought I would not miss getting in the water because it's so much getting both of us out but I do indeed miss it so much. It's awesome to see them excel and that's 100% because of the coaches. We've had a schedule where we have different coaches so I think we know almost everyone there (or at least they know us!) and all of the swim coaches have been awesome. Very kind, very patient, and attentive. After each class, they give very constructive feedback to the parents. I also very much appreciate how clean the facilities are and the snacks. My kids buy snacks at every visit and they have a good mix of healthy and fun snacks for like $1 each. Rescheduling or canceling classes was also something we do frequently either because of sickness or things coming up and it's so easy to do using the app. I can see how many make ups we have left and what times/coaches are available. And I even reschedule both kids at the same time to work with our some times crazy schedule. Our babysitters and nanny have taken the girls too and it's very easy to have others like grandparents or aunts/uncles fill in. Not sure if all the Aquatots do this but our family loves the extra swim parties and games they have at holidays and such. For example, at Christmas, they had swim with Santa with crafts, photos, open swim, snacks, etc. at easter, they had an egg hunt where the kids could get eggs in the pool and trade them in for prizes/candy. And our favorite was a swim meet - like a very positive mock swim meet - where the kids competed in different heats either others in their skill level and were awarded prizes. The coaches rooted them on and cheered like it was the Olympics. We've been to two other swim schools for kids in FW and this is the best. You will not be disappointed, your kids will have fun and gain valuable safety skills and invaluable confidence in the water
Everyone is so welcoming and friendly at this location! They know my children by name when we come in the door and make every lesson comfortable and fun but still challenging. Trust the “tears to cheers” philosophy. It was a big adjustment when my son moved from swimming with a parent in level 2 to swimming alone with a coach at level 3, but his coaches made it fun and were so comforting to him even on the toughest days. Now he’s 3 and can swim independently in shallow water (in arm’s reach) and it’s really awesome to see him enjoy the water with confidence. He can also get to the surface for air and swim to the edge of a deeper pool to climb out by himself, which is huge in case he ever fell into a pool.
