11/14/25 posted We took our precious 9 yo dog to get a prescription renewed. This is our first visit to Arlington South Veterinary Hospital. Our Vets office closed down. When it was being shut down, I went over there, I met Breanna the Office Manager of ASVH. She was helping to shut down my Vets office. I really liked her so she transferred all of our dogs' records over to Arl S Vet Hosp. So, first Eva, a Vet Tech came in to ask questions about our sweet girl. She is very nervous when she goes anywhere. So she was shaking nervously. Then Dr Doherty one of our new Vets there, came in, and knowing she is a nervous dog, got down on her knees and sat on them so she was on the same level. She went right over to her. That was incredibly awesome to us. We told her she does like small children. So, our appt went great and we actually learned a lot from her. Jenny at the front desk is awesome also. We felt very comfortable there. We will continue to go there. Thank you all!!!

Was having an emergency episode with my 7yr old dog. Even though all appointment was filled they understood my anxiety and got took him in. Staff was so concerned. After testing they explained everything. Wonderful experience.

These guys care. They went through everything, making sure I was okay with all the charges for my kitty and the tests they had to run. Later, they followed up with the test results (which were all normal) and then again just to ask how he was doing (much better, thank you!).

Office staff very pleasant. The appointment was very easily made. The staff that was taking care of my little dog, was very gentle with her and made her feel comfortable . The doctor was professional and answered all of my concerns. The next day I received a call from the doctor concerning the test that was taken on my dog. If you have to go to a veterinarian, this is a great place to go.

I live in Alvarado, TX, but I drive over 30 minutes to bring my dog, Iago, to this veterinary hospital when the need arises because of how pleased I’ve been with the care they provide since our first visit. The staff is always so professional and welcoming, and it’s evident they genuinely care about their patients. They always follow up with a text or phone call to see how Iago is doing after his visits. I only have great things to say about this hospital!
