Husband went to Batt's to recalibrate lights on his right side mirror. Batts quoted him a price "between $300 and $400." He told them to call before proceeding with costs that exceeded the estimate. They did not call. The charge was over $600, and when he drove it 5 minutes, the lane changer/blind spot alert failed. He called back and they told him to return it, however, Mondays are the only days he can be car-less. You'd think they would have driven and tested the recalibration b4 releasing the car. I'm posting this now, because they have our money and we still have a broken mirror. IF they fix it next Monday, I'll change my rating. I have a feeling this will probably end up in small claims. Update: we returned the car and the fix was quite simple after speaking and involving the owner -not the relative as was in the first discussion. Rating moved from a "1" to a "3" because the mirror was fixed. They would've gotten a higher rating if the price the woman who answered our first call would have given a more honest estimate...and if b4 proceeding to charge us over $600.00, she would have contacted us for approval. It was bait at Batts.
We have worked with Batts on three different occasions, and in every case their work was excellent! Our most recent experience was the replacement of our drivers side window and the side view mirror, due to a hit and run accident. Both of these repairs were made in one day, and the workmanship was exceptional. Batts did a fantastic job, and stayed within the budget allotted by our insurance company. We will never go anywhere else for body repairs on our vehicles. The only drawback was that we had to wait several weeks for the repairs, due to the Thanksgiving holiday and Batts’ popularity! It was worth the wait, however, and we are grateful for their excellent service!
I can’t say enough great things about Batts Body & Paint in Greensboro. They did phenomenal work on my 2023 Mustang Mach-E — it truly looks good as new. The quality of their craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. I’ll be honest — the process took longer than expected because of delays with the Ford dealership, and I was probably that annoying customer checking in more than I should. But the team at Batts handled everything with patience, professionalism, and constant communication. They went above and beyond, advocating on my behalf and making sure everything was done right. Their customer service is just as impressive as their repair work. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Huge props to the entire Batts team. If you need body or paint work done, this is absolutely the place to go. I wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else! ASK FOR ADDISON. HES THE BEST
This is the only place you should trust for your repair needs! Courtesy and exceptional customer service started with Jonathan and Nick and didn’t end until my car was picked up. The entire experience was effortless. Where else does the auto body tech take so much pride in his work that he greets you, welcomes a critique and promises to fix anything that isn’t perfect? There’s a reason insurers try to coerce you to go to places like Caliber Collision - it’s good for the insurance company not you. Batts is the place to get your car properly repaired.
If you want the top tier repair shop in the area, look no further. Highly knowledgeable people. Repair done right the first time. Nick and Jonathan are the best. After a deer jumped in front of my new Mazda CX70 and damaged the windshield, side glass, and mirror, this was the only shop Mazda service recommended. This shop is distinguished by the attention to detail, paint blending and reprogramming dozens of safety features. Everything worked!!! Be patient! Getting the parts is a separate supply chain issue.
