We brought our cockatiel for an exam and we're absolutely delighted with the care and professionalism shown. Both Students were great taking the amnanesis and Dr Clark was excellent in explaining every step of the procedure to come. We have been to another vet in Romford who was meant to be a specialist for exotics, however our bird and us were both traumatized after that visit. Not so at the Beaumont. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, excellent vets and a fantastic learning hospital with up and coming student vets in the making. Excellent Animal Hospital and so lucky to have it on our door step.

Five stars for the vets, but the booking system is inhumane and a classic “policy for the sake of policy” with zero benefit to the animal (I assume it’s some kind of cost cutting exercise). They won’t accept a referral from an emergency vet from their own sister hospital in Potters Bar from an emergency visit, but instead need a referral from the original vet who hasn’t seen the animal yet, adding more time, delays, and ensuring the animal gets sicker. Imagine going to A&E and being told “yep, you likely have cancer, here is where to go” and you go for help and are told “sorry, go back to your GP first, we won’t help otherwise”. (Actually this does happen in England sometimes with humans, which is so bad and again unjustifiable.) I want to stress that the care, once you get it, is very good but this particular policy they have prolongs the suffering of the animals for no reason.

So impressed with how exotics vet Nadene handled my two house rabbits. The Rabbit Welfare Association rates this practice as gold standard and I can see why. Nadene's approach to examining my rabbits was so much better than any other vet I've observed. The rabbits were so much calmer and more cooperative because of it. The explanation Nadene gave the veterinary students observing was also so insightful. The appointment was 40 mins and very thorough. I highly recommend visiting this practice with your rabbits.

10/10 service and i want to say a very big thank you to vicky especially and lots of thank yous to all the other vets , nurses and lovely reception staff! they have done nothing but handle my bird , sombra , with amazing care. during his stay he was very well cared for and bounced back from what was certainly the brink of death at the lowest point , without these angels i doubt i would have been able to keep sharing my life with him . he is all good ! happy and healthy and preparing to move across europe with me and the rest of our family <3 they cuddled him , cared for him and because of the exotics department's expertise with birds they knew exactly what his problem was and managed to help us greatly with getting him on the path to being better. THANK YOU , STAFF!
