Paid several thousand dollars to this clinic to end up with permanent darkening of my scar. I was told to “wait it out” but my scarring ended up darkening instead of improving. It has been over 1-2 years and has stayed darkened from the lasering. I took a loan out to pay for something I thought would work and was reassured by Crystal the scarring with improve with time. Am thinking about going to the ACCC as I feel I have been scammed. My lasering sessions were rushed, she double booked with another client and I was left waiting. By the time it was my turn, another client popped up and she rushed through my lasering. When asked for before and after photos, she looked through her phone and “couldn’t find them”. I noticed the scarring became visibly worse and she told me it would improve with time. It has stayed darkened and is visibly worse than it was before. I am dealing with discolouration 2 years later.

​I recently completed five sessions for pigmentation removal at Bella Pelle Skin Clinic with Crystal, and I'm very happy with my results. We used the RevLite and PicoSure Pro lasers for my treatment. ​Crystal is highly professional and direct, she's down to business and to the facts, and doesn't come across salesy. She was meticulous during the treatments and I can tell she cares about the outcome of her work for her clients. ​After five sessions, the treatment has successfully removed the pigmentation, resulting in clearer, spotless skin. She even removed sunspots on my lips and near my eyes. As an added benefit of the lasers we used, my overall facial skin complexion is also noticeably brighter and less yellow. Thanks Crystal!

I have been going to Crystal for over a year now for pigment. She has dramatically reduced my pigmentation in various areas of my face, hands, arms and legs. Pigment that others clinics could not get rid of, Crystal had removed it in the first session. For example freckles on the fingers and corners of the eyes. Crystal is very thorough and knowledgeable and this is why I continue to make appointments. Thank you Crystal!

Crystal is extremely knowledgeable! I have a medium skin complexion (not fair nor dark) and had Picosure combined with other lasers twice, and thank God my mild melasma completely cleared - it’s been a couple of years now. Crystal recommended a package for optimal results but also gave me the freedom to go with the flow, which I really appreciated. I’ve also had the Aqua Peel facial together with LED therapy, which was incredibly hydrating and left my skin absolutely glowing! Highly recommend!

My Honest Experience at Bella Pelle Cosmetic Clinic Like many, I was drawn to Bella Pelle by glowing reviews and an associate’s recommendation. The clinic’s location above Hermes certainly sets a luxurious tone, and with the premium prices, I expected matching professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience fell short. Crystal seemed pleasant and knowledgeable, but her English was often hard to follow and she avoided eye contact, which didn’t inspire confidence. She took photos of my skin and hastily scribbled a $9,537 treatment plan on a piece of paper. That photo I took of her notes ended up being my only record—no formal documentation, no clear breakdown, and no agreement, no after-care instructions, no pre-empted additional skincare required, even after paying a $1,000 deposit and an additional $4527. Each time I paid, I expected a proper tax invoice, especially since GST was being charged. Instead, my office and I had to repeatedly chase her for receipts, even sending bank transfer proofs to prompt action. The handwritten invoice I eventually received after ceasing her services was incomplete and unprofessional. My office had to send her corrections and we still have not received a revised one that is in accordance to the monies she was paid. After my second session, Crystal pitched my husband the same $10k plan for a much smaller issue, and had him transfer a $3,435 deposit on the spot—again, with zero paperwork. She quote “he will have the same treatment as you”. My confidence plummeted as I realised treatment plans seemed to depend more on what you could afford than your actual needs. When my work schedule changed, I opted to switch from the “discounted” package to pay-per-session at the regular (and much higher) rate. I considered transferring the unused funds to my husband, but Crystal’s comment that she “doesn’t normally provide refunds, but would allow it this time” was a huge red flag. Out of principle, I insisted on a refund for the unused portion, minus sessions already taken. My office had to follow up multiple times, and only after referencing ACCC and ATO regulations did she finally comply. In the end, Crystal refunded $2,835 and apologised via text. For three sessions, we paid $5,775, plus $827 for six Jan Marini products I’d never heard of (there was no information on these products, other than "take a pic, use 1, 2, 3, 4...". The only initial result was minor lightening of a few moles—but now a couple of months later, I have darker spots in various areas that didnt exist before. For two treatment plans costing nearly $10,000 each, I expected transparency, professionalism, and to feel valued as a client. But once you're in, each treatment is rushed and ushered out for the next customer. Thereafter, it was a constant battle for basic documentation and legal rights. Crystal’s text that she’d “never had this experience” made me wonder if the clinic counts on clients being too focused on results to notice poor business practices. I’m happy to pay for quality, but I expect proper business standards in return. In summary - Bella Pelle may deliver on the treatment for some, but if you value clear communication, professionalism, and ethical business practices, be cautious. Get everything in writing before handing over your money. If there is no formal accountability for thousands of dollars, what more, if the treatment messes your skin or face? For me, the luxury address was the only luxury part of the experience—I left completely turned off.
