I really don’t know much about cars or how to take care of them but I knew I needed new tires. Kyle was so helpful and charismatic! He helped me out and explained everything to me in a way that didn’t make me feel pressured or “dumb for not knowing”. The place can get pretty busy but they handle it with grace and professionalism.

Kyle, the store manager at the state line location is awesome! I was in and out within the hour for an oil change and rotation. He is very polite, has great customer service and works incredibly hard. Shop seemed short staffed and Kyle was out buzzing around the shop working with the other mechanics to make sure things got done. I used to go to the wornall location, but I will now be going back to the state line location as long as Kyle is there!

Absolutely amazing! We came in 10 minutes before close for a failed patch. They were able to order us a new tire even though it ended up being 10 minutes after close. Very helpful on scheduling when the new tire comes in. They even put the spare tire on for us.

First off I want to say that in a customer experience sense they were mostly great and helpful. They honestly seem very short staffed and under resourced so I didnt get a chance to explain that they cant just keep my car overnight because its my one and only car for my household. This was a big problem because I have a disabled partner who ended up having to reschedule a few doctors appointments. They had to reschedule on me twice once because they forgot to order the parts they needed. And the second time one of the mechanics locked the tools they needed to do the repairs in their locker and had to leave for an emergency. Which, the only bad on them there is ...why didn't you leave your keys to your locker before you left? Emergencies happen, I get it. Anyway I went to them because my engine was overheating. And here is where things get dicey. They told me they would recommend a new radiator, new thermostat, hoses, and a coolant flush. Im thinking I have a leak somewhere because of the puddles on my garage floor, so hopefully the new hoses will fix that or they'll find and repair the leak. I tell them to go and do all that. Patton at the front office tells me that this is just a recommendation and it doesn't guarantee a fix to the problem. Which now means that if the problem continues (which guess what, Im getting the engine overheating signal and puddles in my garage again....two weeks later) its on me. I will say that Patton and Madison, the sales associates at the front are amazing and were nice enough to give me a ride home ans pickup to the shop when they had to keep my car overnight. And didn't really give me a choice because they were about to close and they already left my car in an undrivable state. Essentially they bought a faulty part and couldnt just put the old one back in so I could drive it home.... FYI while leaving I could clearly see my car still leaking fluids while it was up in the lift. Anyway, I get picked up the next day and get my car. They do give me a discount, and I do appreciate all their customer service efforts. Ultimately though...they didn't fix my car and now im down $1800 and have to roll the dice to find someone who can. If you need tires and the bare minimum oil change, go here. If you need more involved work, I'd go somewhere else.

Although I often check reviews of a business I rarely offer them. Big O Tires off Madison in South KC deserves praise. I have been a customer for years and never disappointed. The staff are awesome the front staff and techs are great. From tires to oil changes and brakes they are my go to and they've always performed to 100% satisfaction.
