Leaving three stars instead of less because the stylists were incredible (I would give them more than 5 if I could - shoutout to Von and Suairy for helping me look incredible on my wedding day!) but I was very unimpressed with management. I used Blo for a wedding earlier this month and had difficulty getting responses from the owner regarding scheduling - I would have to send a couple emails before getting a response back. At one point, I went into the store because I was having such a hard time getting in touch. They also messed up scheduling for my consultation so instead of getting H + MU in one session like I planned, I had to go back again (only after they rescheduled again 2x). On the day of, one of our MU artists was a no-show and we got pushed back, so they did waive one makeup cost, which I appreciate (I will always give credit where credit is due). However, the day of also met with other bumps as they hadn't kept track of how much I owed, and I was surprised to find the bridal hair and makeup with a $25 and $45 markup just because I was the bride. I had lower maintenance makeup and spent comparable time (or less) in the chair than my bridesmaids. Perhaps it would be worth visiting how to charge lower maintenance brides (aka NOT full glam) accordingly.

Cece was amazing! Showed her pictures of what I wanted and she did exactly that! The energy is amazing and everyone has such good energy! Best place in Charlotte for a quick blowout💕 I will be back soon for my monthly hair fix:)

Showed up for my 8am blow dry. I wanted to look good for my 10am job interview. Stylist had just begun blow drying previous client's very long hair. Stylist stated it is not her fault she's running behind and would not be able to start with me until 9am. When I questioned her scheduling practice, she had to leave the room to calm down. Very unprofessional. Will not return.

Update—The owner refunded my make up charges and apologized. She was very prompt and professional. I respect and appreciate her response and would consider their services in the future as my prior experiences were great. ———————————————————————— My daughter in law and I went there to get hair and make up for a wedding. We both asked for a natural look…the makeup was caked on and far from natural. Not smoothed and aggressive eyebrows. It was the worst makeup and hair for an event that I have EVER experienced and I do not recommend going here again and was a waste of $350. I had to come home and redo my hair and wash my face to keep from looking like a clown. My daughter in law had to reduce the amount of makeup and highlighter as well. I have included a photo … I wear glasses and could not see the results until it was too late to fix as we had to leave to get to the wedding on time and fix the makeup and hair without being late for the wedding. A complete disaster.
