I had a great experience the first time I came Here most ago, then some random woman ( a stylist) not sure who she is. EXTREMELY RUDE her name is Tokashi or something like that. Idk where she came from but I will never go back to this location because of her. She’s rude and disrespectful and evil spirited. Literally has an attitude whenever you speak. It’s a shame. I had a great experience with two other stylists. Ariya and another stylist I can’t remember the name of. That woman Tokashi or whatever should not be working there she has terrible customer service and I will not recommend this location to anyone because of her
I booked an eyebrow service at Blow Bar through ClassPass, and unfortunately had a really upsetting experience. I asked for a simple clean-up and made it clear that I wanted to keep my full brows. Instead, the stylist cut off the entire edge of one of my eyebrows, which I’ve been growing out for years. When I told her I was unhappy, she was dismissive and responded with, “What do you want, a refund?” as if the issue was the money, when the real problem is the permanent cosmetic damage. I tried to resolve this directly with the salon, but the interaction felt unprofessional and I wasn’t offered a real solution or even genuine concern. I rarely leave reviews like this, but eyebrows are a big part of your face, and this level of carelessness and attitude is unacceptable. I really hope management addresses this seriously, improves training, and takes customer concerns more professionally so this doesn’t happen to someone else.
I had an appointment on 10/4 at 8:15am at the Knox location in Dallas, TX. I arrived at 8:18am, checked in, and waited a bit to be seen. This was my second visit. When I met my stylist, she asked what kind of blowout I wanted, and I told her “beach waves.” As she started washing my hair, she mentioned, “you have a lot of hair, we’ll have to charge you a fee for extended time,” which was fine — I just wasn’t aware of that policy since it was only my second visit. However, from that point on, the entire service felt focused on that one issue. Multiple staff members came by and repeated comments about the “extended time fee,” which felt very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. While I was sitting in the chair, my stylist told me, “if I don’t tell you, I’ll get in trouble because it’s our busy season.” Then, as another stylist came to help blow dry my hair, I overheard a comment — “damn” — which was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. I felt awkward and uncomfortable for the rest of the service. My first experience here was nothing like this. Later, another stylist mentioned I’d also be charged to detangle my hair, which I also wasn’t aware of. At that point, I just sat there in silence feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. During curling, my stylist even got pulled away mid-service and later came back saying, “oh, my leads asked if I told you about the extended time charge.” Overall, the entire experience felt rushed, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. I wasn’t offered water, tea, or any hospitality during my visit. My first appointment was great, but this one was completely different. Truly disappointed in the service I received today.
Tosha did my tape in install, she did my extensions so perfectly! Even made sure I could put it up in a ponytail without any showing!! She had superior customer service and made sure to talk to me the whole throughout the appointment making sure everything was feeling okay.
Went in for an 8am appointment and the stylist was so rude! The hair fell flat and looks like 3 day old hair. The stylists were all arguing with customers over class pass appointments, seems they didn’t want to help us. Stylist made no attempt to talk or make a connection and my hair looks terrible. It’s a shame since the other branches have such good people.
