Not the professional experience I expected. Dirty salon, dirty tools, drawers falling apart, stations with obvious damage, stylist never gave me a book to choose, never put any product in my hair. It fell within 45 seconds of walking outside. Overall- not worth it. Given the location, I was shocked.

I had the most incredible experience with Rita. I've been to other blow dry bars before but never here. I had a magical evening planned at the Magic Castle and booked dry style for me and a blow out for my friend who was visiting from out of town. They styled my hair incredibly. I AM NOT JOKING WHEN I SAY THAT I HAVE NEVER FELT SO BEAUTIFUL IN MY LIFE - NOT EVEN AT MY WEDDING. Sadly, there are no photos allowed inside the Magic Castle so I have limited photos of how I looked but it was an incredible evening and I felt amazing. THANK YOU RITA!!!

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment following my recent visit to your salon. Despite having read mixed reviews, I decided to give it a chance due to its convenient location. Unfortunately, that decision turned out to be a significant mistake. From the beginning, the experience was off-putting. I was informed that due to double-booking, my appointment would be delayed by 15 minutes. While I wasn’t in a rush and didn’t mind the wait, it set an unprofessional tone. I also noticed that a guest before me was offered a beverage—a simple courtesy I was not extended. I let that go, assuming it was an oversight. I had added the head massage to my service, but it felt rushed and lackluster—certainly not worth the additional cost. During the blowout, I explained that I was looking for loose curls, which I’ve routinely received at other salons using a round brush or rollers. Instead, the stylist—Hailey—opted for a curling iron. While I didn’t initially object, I could immediately tell something was off. My hair was pulled tightly, I was burned multiple times with the blow dryer, and the entire process was not the experience I was hoping for. I didn’t speak up at the moment, as I’ve had my hair styled many times and consider myself to have a fairly high tolerance. When she turned me around, the final look wasn’t what I envisioned, but it didn’t seem terrible—so I paid and left without complaint. However, soon after leaving, I noticed a strong burning smell. Upon closer inspection, I could see marks on the top of my hair from the curling iron, and I’ve already noticed breakage in that area. Now, three days and two washes later, that smell still is still just as pungent, indicating significant damage. This is extremely upsetting, especially considering how long I’ve worked to maintain the health of my hair. Adding to my concern was the overall cleanliness of the salon. The tools and stations around me were visibly dirty. What’s most disappointing is that my stylist initially complimented my hair—its health, length, and growth—which now makes this experience feel even more careless, if not intentionally negligent.

Shoutout to Myrlen at Blo. I couldn’t be happier with my engagement photo look! Myrlen showed up early, worked her magic on my hair, and even went the extra mile to touch up my makeup. I felt like a queen and the photos turned out amazing— Can’t recommend her enough 💖✨ Thank you Myrlen & Chris.

Such a fabulous blowout, I got the beach waves by Kimberlyh and she was brilliant, so kind and friendly - everyone was! Loved the champagne water too. Will definitely come back, thank you!
