Not a impressed with my experience. The two flower baskets I ordered for family arrived 5 days late, frozen and looking like they'd been drop kicked around. All customer service could tell me during those five days was that they were "on their way" via Purolator. The link Purolator sent was useless, only accessible once and not providing any info on actual delivery. Took some back and forth afterwards trying to get a refund. Bloomex would only offers store credit that didn't include the delivery fee. I ended up paying an additional $17 just to get something for my money. The only reason this is a 3 star and not 0 star review is that the second delivery was on time and looked good.
Sally was so pleasant to deal with taking my order….. However, I have to say, I specified that I wanted the order I requested and paid for …over $100 to be EXACTLY as shown in the photo and it ended up looking NOTHING like it nor did it have ANY of the flowers or greenery from the photo. I would not have ordered if I knew that was the case. Very disappointing. It was more like a spring summer bouquet as opposed to Christmas. Please refer to the attached. The first is what I ordered from your website and the 2nd is what was delivered. It would have been a 5 star if it even resembled what I thought I paid for. Thanks for listening.
⭐ 1 STAR – COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION / BORDERLINE SCAM I am beyond disappointed with Bloomex. What I received was nowhere close to what was advertised, even after paying extra for a SUPERSIZE upgrade. The first photo shows the bouquet I ordered from their website: a full, lush, professionally balanced arrangement with roses, fillers, and volume — clearly marketed as a premium product. I even paid an additional charge specifically to receive a much larger bouquet. The second photo shows what was actually delivered. What arrived was a smaller, sparse, completely different arrangement, missing key flowers, missing volume, missing structure, and absolutely no evidence of any “supersize” upgrade whatsoever. It was actually smaller than the standard photo, not larger. I was genuinely shocked when I saw it. Bloomex later admitted they substituted flowers due to “availability,” yet never contacted me, never requested approval, and never disclosed that the final product would be materially different and inferior to what I paid for. That alone is unacceptable. To make matters worse, after clearly delivering the wrong product, Bloomex refused a refund and tried to hide behind their policy, offering only a store credit — as if I would ever trust this company again. Let’s be clear: • I paid for one product • I received a completely different, inferior product • I paid extra for a larger bouquet • I received something smaller than advertised • No approval was given for substitutions • No accountability was taken Charging customers for a premium arrangement and delivering a downgraded substitute without consent is misrepresentation, no matter how nicely it’s worded in an email. This experience felt deceptive, disrespectful, and incredibly frustrating. If you value honesty, transparency, and actually receiving what you pay for, stay far away from Bloomex. I will never order from them again and strongly recommend others don’t either. Photos attached speak for themselves.
I called the number for Florist.ca (which turned out to be a front for Bloomex) on Tuesday, November 11th at 1:00am. I spoke with Chris and ordered the Deluxe Plantapalooza to be delivered to someone special that same day. Chris was very polite and assured me that the plant would be delivered that afternoon and said it would look even better than the photo. I agreed to the rather expensive charge for the plant because it was important to me that it arrived that same day. Chris assured me again the plant would be delivered on time and said I'd receive an email as soon as the plant was delivered. The following evening, I realized that I still hadn’t received a delivery notification. I call Florist.ca again and this time I spoke with John. John casually said there was a delay in the warehouse and it will be delivered tomorrow. I told him that was unacceptable and asked John to cancel the order. John said he could not, which I later found out was a lie. John then said he filed a complaint on my behalf and would email me a copy but that was also a lie. John just emailed me the email address of customer support and I was later told that he did not file a complaint as he claimed. On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, I still hadn't received a delivery notification as promised so I called again and spoke with Floren. I told him I still hadn’t received a delivery notification and that I wanted to cancel the order. Floren said I could cancel the order (despite John saying I couldn't) but after checking the system, he said he couldn’t cancel because the plant was already delivered. (I still never received the delivery notice I was promised.) Given the problems I’d had already, I hoped the product they delivered wouldn’t be as bad as the service they provided. I apologized to the gift recipients for the delay and asked them to please send me photos of the plant they received. As you can see from the attached photos, the arrangement was so bad it was embarrassing. The plant they received was half dead, had several broken leaves, and multiple other leaves with insect holes. Even the basket wasn’t as nice as the one in the photo on the website. After receiving the photos, I called Florist.ca on Saturday, November 15, 2025 to complain about half-dead plant that was delivered late. Anna put notes in my order and asked me to email the photos to customer service. She said I’d receive a response by email within 24 hours. I sent an email along with the photos to customer service as instructed but the email bounced back. I called again and this time I spoke with Roman who gave me three email addresses to try but all three emails bounced back. Roman promised to look into the matter and call me right back but he never did. I eventually decided on my own to reduce the size of the photos and try resending the email and that worked. I did not receive a response on Sunday, as promised. Instead, I received an email on Monday, November 17, 2025 saying “As stated in our policy, we accept quality and composition-related complaints within 24 hours from the delivery date due to the perishable nature of our products.” That’s it. No apologies for the unacceptable delays, the lies, the terrible service or the half-dead plant; just a refusal to accept responsibility due to a technicality. Even if the plant had been perfect, the cost of the plant, the stress and the aggravation were way too high to make me want to deal with Florist.ca or Bloomex ever again under any circumstances. Given their terrible service, unreasonable delivery delays, half-dead products and refusal to accept responsibility for their mistakes, I highly recommend NOT using this company for any floral orders that are important to you in any way.
Dealt with Chris who was extremely helpful, responsive and courteous throughout the entire process seeing I was sending fruit basket to NS. Would definately use again. Update. What I requested was NOT what was recieved. I requested and paid for a supersize fruit basket but somewhere it was decided to substitute the order without contacting me. What was recieved was flowers and 5 boxes of pretzels and NO CARD which was also purchased. Today is Sept 24th and I am still calling them to rectify their mistake. IF your going to substitute something YOU need to contact the purchaser. Ever think there could be diet restrictions? Allergies??? I am totally disappointed. I was promised sept 23rd delivery, now Sept 24th 2025. Not impressed. Chris did his/her job in placing the order correctly, BLOOMEX dropped the ball!
