I came over to Spokane from Olympia for my best friends 40th birthday. Part of our weekend was visiting Board & Brush within 2 hours after I drove over to make our own signs. Barb and Tom were amazing, we had a blast making our projects. I feel confident enough now to attempt one on my own at home with supplies I already have! My only suggestion is to ventilate the building better. With all of the stains and paints being used by multiple people it made it hard to be in the room at times without taking an outside air break. Perhaps an open front door could help. Wound up with a headache from the smells, but honestly it was worth it for the opportunity to do a project with my best friend. I will for sure visit my local Board and Brush here in Olympia as long as the class size is smaller. Keep up the good work Barb and Tom, it really was an amazing time overall!

Such a fun and creative experience!!! It seems incredibly overwhelming to think you are going to take this plain piece of wood and turn it in to something worth putting on your walls, but Barb and her team make it easy!!! Such a wonderful owner and employees, I can't wait to go back. It is 21+, so no kiddos allowed. They serve beer, wine, hard lemonade and hard cider in addition to soda and water. You can also bring in your own food to enjoy. If you are looking for something to do tonight, put this at the top of your list!!!
