First of all, the design of this place is absolutely beautiful — you really want to take your time and look around at all the details. The food was delicious: we really enjoyed the shakshuka, and the chicken tacos were very tasty as well. The strawberry matcha was excellent — fresh, well balanced, and definitely a highlight for us. We truly enjoyed our visit and had a great overall experience. Our server Sebastian was kind and attentive, which made the visit even more pleasant. We would happily come back again.
I was really impressed by the reviews before trying this brunch place, so my expectations were high. I ordered the avocado toast with extra salmon and, given the price (around $30), I was expecting something more refined. The sourdough bread was excellent & crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. However, the avocado was overly mashed and tasted very similar to the small pre-made guacamole cups from Costco. The egg was also disappointing, it felt like a standard machine-boiled egg, similar to what you’d get at McDonald’s or Tim Hortons, rather than something house-made or authentic. The side salad was another letdown as the dressing was very watery, as you can see in the picture, which took away from the overall freshness. On a positive note, the salmon was good, and the service and atmosphere were both great. Overall, a pleasant experience, but the food didn’t quite live up to the price or the hype.
Enjoyed my lunch here. Belen was a very nice server. They have a $19 lunch special. 1 protein, 2 sides, soup, & a coffee. I chose lamb kofta (juicy), humus, and salad. We also tried two delicious pastries: orange pound cake & spicy beef sfiha (also juicy). They do charge an automatic 18% service charge when you eat in & ask if you want to leave tip on top of that when you check out.
I really loved this place! We had breakfast inside, but there are also plenty of cozy tables outside in the backyard. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the avo toast, PLT croissant, and Dubai latte, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!
Place is a great quaint cafe I got breakfast in. Food was excellent along with the service and ambience. Definitely recommend going here if you want to have a good breakfast. My server Fabriccio was excellent server making sure food was on time and we were always comfortable. He was also not intrusive just checking the right amount of times.
