the employees were EXTREMELY loud, not saying anything rude, but so loud that it completely ruined the peaceful bookstore experience, especially because the space is so small you couldn't ignore it from ANYWHERE, in short terrible experience, left as quickly as we could without any books

Best experience with BAM! Excellent customer service by manager. Very helpful and how she is, is how every manager should be. I wish we lived closer.

I just went to Books-A-Million with my aunt with the intention of getting some books that would keep the attention of my teenager. We received the help of Jason, Raven, Taylor, and one other lady. I'm sorry I didn't catch the last lady's name. They were all 4 amazing, but Raven and Taylor were superstars. They went above and beyond and helped us find some phenomenal books to keep the attention of my boy. We will be back soon. The variety of items other than just books is incredible. My aunt had to personally walk me away from the stand housing the Loungefly bags. 😅 I was even able to sign up for a teacher membership. I will be back soon. This is one of my favorite new stores. Thank you for making this a good experience. ❤️❤️

Very clean book store with good products and most of the staff is friendly however, i went in with my daughter and mother today and we talked about an unfinished series and I made a comment about waiting until it came out as thats how we prefer to read series. The store employee decided to jump into our conversation and put her two cents in, co eradicating what I said and the proceeded to tell my mom that book store get advance reader copies and falsely claimed a book series was finished when my mom is on this particular ARC team. She was trying to one up and talk like she was better and more informed. We didn't invite her into our conversation or anything, she was condescending and her comments and smug attitude made us feel unwelcome. Ill be going to Barnes and Noble from now on

DITCH B&N AND COME TO B.A.M What an amazing store with amazing staff! At least 2 people approached me and asked me if I needed help with anything. I want to say the manager ( Lindsay? ) and I chatted for a bit and she let me know the intentionality that went behind their book placement. For example, the classics section. And how they made it more accessible to customers because everyone seemed to be wanting more of it! They have a great selection and their membership program seems worth while if you are a bookworm! I can say with full confidence, I will be shopping for all of my brand new books at Books A Million from now on!
