I cannot say enough nice things about Brighton-Eggert. My dog has gone here since we got her (6 years) and everyone has been so kind and loving to her. She had rehab here after surgery and now years later when she comes for a check up everyone who has worked with her stops into say hello and give pets and treats. Care is always exceptional.
Not recommended. Their website says "critical medical condition arise we will be here" That's not true..And now this BS answer given.....You trust them all their life and when your fur baby is in dire need of help they are not there for them. Sad news about my moms precious Bella. She 13 and has been a client with Brighton Eggert all this time. We just inherited her a year ago when my mom went into memory care. She's the most beautiful sweetest girl. But with 14 Drs. (as shown on their web site) they couldn't squeeze her in and help her out. After her grooming this Thursday at Brighton Eggert she fell ill with diarrhea on the weekend. She's had it once before but a couple helpings of pepto and it cleared up in a day. When it didn't clear up this time we made her chicken and rice. She had some small helpings of that on Saturday but on Sunday was having more diarrhea. Monday morning I called Brighton Eggert to get her in but there were no openings and was told to call Tuesday at 730 am to see if there were any openings. We couldn't wait another whole day or maybe more if they had no time so I took her Monday afternoon to EVS emergency and she got fluids, an antibiotic and Proviable kit. She stopped eating that day. At 2am Tuesday morning she had more a diarrhea accident in the house again and was lethargic and in pain when I touched her.. We took her to Emergency Green Acres. Her X-rays showed pancreatitis/gastroenteritis inflamed liver. She was in such pain and had diarrhea accident with blood in the vet room. We decided to have her euthanized to take her pain away. Can't recommend Brighton Eggert. Maybe it depends on who answers the phone but they're not there when you need them. 😢
I choose Brighten-Eggert Animal Clinic because of the excellence of Veterinarians and staff. I have been taking my pets there for years. My most recent visit this weekend was great. They really care about your pets and make sure they get the best. I love them and recommend the Clinic very highly. My Suki is on the mend and doing well.
Really great and caring people work here. They have been the place we take all of our companion animals. All the way from the receptionist, to the Techs, to the Vets, they all listen to what's going on with my dog and do their best to help. I really can't say enough about how great I've always been treated by the people who work here. Very compassionate who always go above and beyond what's expected.
My 4 year old min pin mix started to have what I thought were UTI symptoms, for example more frequent urination, accidents in the house, and trying to urinate with not much coming out. I called on a Saturday and they were able to get us in at 5 pm that day for an urgent care visit. We were seen right away and Dr. Aguayo immediately felt Luna’s underbelly and said it feels like she has bladder stones I’m going to xray her right now to be sure. Results were a bladder full of stones, almost taking up all of the space in her bladder and not leaving enough space for urine. We were told she would 100% need surgery and the Dr. was able to fit her in the next day for her cystotomy. The surgery went perfectly and we were able to pick Luna up at 5:30 pm and bring her home to recover. I’m so grateful I established with this practice over a year and half ago for Luna’s vet care. Ive met an array of staff from different Veterinarians and techs to the service desk workers, and I always leave there feeling like my baby is really in good hands, and feeling more educated on her health and needs. From dropping Luna off at 8 AM to prepare for her surgery, I was waiting until about 3:00 PM for Dr. Aguayo to call with the good news that the surgery went perfectly. I was a nervous wreck crying all day worrying about if she would be okay or not and was so relieved to hear that it went well and that I could come get her soon. The day after her surgery I received a call from staff to check on Luna and see how she is doing, which I am grateful that they really take the time to followup up almost immediately instead of just waiting until that 2 week post op appointment. Luna is doing really well 2 weeks post op and she is pretty much back to her old self again. Im really grateful that this veterinary team is one I can trust with my babies care.
