I had an excellent experience with Caliber Collision. Everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful; something that makes a big difference when dealing with the stress of car repairs. Eddie, in particular, was outstanding. He kept me informed every step of the way, and when the work was finished, the car looked amazing.

I picked Caliber because of the high 9K+ reviews but was disappointed thru out the process. First was the estimator telling me the black factory 2 tone color was a liner instead of actual paint. Any experienced person in this field should be able to visually see it is not a liner and most if not all OEM would not be using liner that only has short limited few yrs life. Then there is the GM role person (as I was told) who explained to me the work done but was wrong. He should not tell me what was done if unsure. Then there was the paint quality issue that nobody caught but was quite visually obvious. The painter and quality check person if one even exist should have caught it and fix it before telling the customer it is ready for pick up. At this time and again, they told me the liner needed to be replaced when it was obvious paint. So the car had to go back into the shop wasting my time showing up. Then there was communication issue. During the insurance repair period, I did get multiple status updates which was good but there was also update telling me to respond to authorize work to start when work already started. This is just confusion to the customer. When the car had to remain in the shop longer for the paint quality issue which they tell me again “liner” needs replacement, I should at the very minimum get an update on how long it would take especially when it will be painting and not liner. I called back 2 times asking to talk to someone on the status and were told, someone will call me back right away or like in 30 min. and nobody did. When I called the 3rd time and near the end of the day, I was told to come in to pick up car. Someone should have told me earlier to plan to come in. Finally, the car should be fully washed after body work when returning to the customers so it will look good and clean. The car was washed to some degrees but the wheels/rims were not and so dirty. Overall, it was a very bad experience from start to end. Maybe I am an unlucky few. I won’t say I will never bring my car here again in the future if needed insurance repair but will certainly give other places a priority before reconsidering Caliber again. Hopefully, I will not need to bring car back for any lifetime repair guarantee work.

I have used Caliber on Hillcap Ave. several times. They are always courteous. They are extremely fast and typically finish my vehicle before the promised date. They clean the vehicle after work to a point where it looks like the interior was detailed. Their paint is frankly better than the factory. The interface with the insurance companies (I have used Geico one time, Allstate one time, and Progressive one time) was smooth and required no intervention on my part. They are simply the best I have encountered.

There is the actual accident of no one getting hurt in this case and the actual time it takes to get your car back on par with your life. Miriam the estimator is efficient in getting that balance back with the repair of my Honda Truck with updates and clear communication of what the next steps would be. Kudos out to Miriam, the Crew, and the front desk for the efficient service! Thanks again for the excellent service!
