I could say a million good things about Carla and the Musikgarten curriculum. Every week, music is presented to the children as something FUN and exciting. We have been attending classes since 2021 and have loved watching our boys fall in love with music, develop their listening skills, and learn songs that we play and sing at home together as a family. The community that Carla brings together is worth the drive across the city alone :) If you're looking for New Orleans' best music classes for children...this is it!! Thank you for all that you do, Carla!

We love Ms.Carla and the Musikgarten program! The group-style curriculum makes it fun for kids to start playing piano, and Ms. Carla is amazing with children. My daughter began with Ms. Carla when she was 3 and completed all the levels of keyboarding. We appreciate the continuity of the program throughout the levels and how it builds upon itself each year.

Our family has been in Ms. Carla's program for four years, since my granddaughter was 10 months old. I'm confident that Carla's students receive the best foundation for a lifelong love of music. Classes are engaging and age appropriate. I look forward to when my granddaughter begins keyboard playing songs she has loved for years.

I really can’t say enough good things about Ms. Carla’s musikgarten program! My son is 2 and absolutely loves the “family music for toddlers” class. Ms. Carla is very knowledgeable and naturally engaging with her students. She has great strategies to keep even the busiest of toddlers actively participating and enjoying class. It’s been so amazing to watch my son grow in his appreciation for making and listening to music through her fun filled program. He has memorized many of his favorite songs and loves singing them together at home and playing along with his own instruments. I’m looking forward to hopefully many years of classes through her program. Love love this class and Ms. Carla!!

All three of my children have taken classes with Carla since infancy. Musikgarten offers easy to learn songs you likely haven’t heard before. The class is fun (and my kids love it!) and Carla also introduces ideas to incorporate music education in everyday life. Carla is warm and kind- she clearly loves her job!
