I could say a million good things about Carla and the Musikgarten curriculum. Every week, music is presented to the children as something FUN and exciting. We have been attending classes since 2021 and have loved watching our boys fall in love with music, develop their listening skills, and learn songs that we play and sing at home together as a family. The community that Carla brings together is worth the drive across the city alone :) If you're looking for New Orleans' best music classes for children...this is it!! Thank you for all that you do, Carla!

You couldn’t meet a nicer music teacher, and she is very accommodating with schedules. She makes sure every kid thrives in the toddler class, and she’s quite the “celebrity” with small ones. Move over, Ms. Rachel - Ms. Carla is the best!

We love Ms.Carla and the Musikgarten program! The group-style curriculum makes it fun for kids to start playing piano, and Ms. Carla is amazing with children. My daughter began with Ms. Carla when she was 3 and completed all the levels of keyboarding. We appreciate the continuity of the program throughout the levels and how it builds upon itself each year.

There is no better program for children learning music 0–6!! Carla is extremely experienced, kind, loving, welcoming and is someone who can really inspire your child to just be curious about music. Her students grow to be life long music lovers and what better way then to start them young! Love this program!

Wonderful class! We have been attendingCarla's Musikgarten classes since my son was 8 months old. He is now 2 and adores the classes as well as Carla, who is incredibly special. I really credit his passion for music to this class as well as other skills. It also gave us social interaction during isolated periods we so welcomed. The class is in a lovely setting and we make a whole morning of it now, using the playground there before and after. We have made nice friends through it as well. It is truly a highlight of every week! Can't wait until the next one.
