Julian and his Castle Flooring team did excellent work at a reasonable price, with great attention to detail and care for our satisfaction. I highly recommend them. We had a challenging "before" case: a 1950 rental with very uneven subfloors. We got differing opinions on whether what we wanted was even possible without a major rebuild. Here, Julian's long experience and expertise shined, to our great relief. He carefully assessed the project, made recommendations, and answered our questions thoughtfully. He was patient with our choosing of final material and color. The execution was as promised, and Julian followed up to make sure. It's a huge upgrade and we're very pleased.

Julian and his crew waterproofed and tiled my master shower and bathroom as well as my hall bath. I've don't many projects over the years. Always tussling with GC's and the subs. Constantly fighting to get the job done well. This is the first time I've ever worked with a specialty contractor that cared as much I do about the project. They led the communication and covered so many details during the planning phase. They were always open to receive feedback and they followed through on everything the promised. The addressed every thing and left nothing unfinished. I cannot wait to recommend these guys to everyone I know.

Our experience with Castle Flooring, the owner Julian, and the installation crew who removed carpeting and installed engineered hardwood in our master bedroom and closet was a very pleasant surprise. Three other vendors never answered our inquiry for our small project - no surprise! Surprise - a person at Castle Flooring picked up the phone. It was the owner, Julian. Surprise - an estimate was emailed the next day, as promised. Surprise - an in-home appointment was made for just a few days later. Surprise - the quote after the home visit was emailed the next day. Surprise - the quote was detailed, thorough and easy to understand. Unknowns were listed like leveling materials and labor. Surprise - there was easy availability for the two-day project to begin the next week. Surprise - the care and thoroughness shown in preparing for the work by placing protective drop cloths through the walking area in our home and putting up dust covers over wall hangings and clothing to protect them from likely dust and debris, even using portions of the removed carpet to protect the outdoor patio, stairs, and a portion of the yard where their equipment was set up. Surprise - the carpet removal, floor cleaning and leveling, hardwood and floor molding was all efficiently and expertly done. Surprise - the attention to detail in the finish work and the cleanup. Surprise - no follow up 'fixes' were needed. We might have found a handy man or company and spent 20-25% less. My guess is the 'surprises' we would have experienced with them would not have made us as happy as we are with Castle Flooring and our new hardwood floors. Julian, thank you!

This is THE place in Austin to get flooring. We moved into a builder grade home that needed some warming up and the team at Castle Flooring helped us carpet the stairs. Julian and Stephanie are so knowledgeable and kind. They provide outstanding service and truly care about their customers. Loved working with a local business that has lots of heart, care, and carpet!

I recently had a full flooring remodel completed, including tile installation throughout the downstairs and luxury vinyl plank on the stairs and entire upstairs. Julian and Stephanie made the entire process seamless with their clear and consistent communication. As unexpected issues arose during the project, Julian was quick to offer helpful options and thoughtful recommendations to address them. The work was completed on schedule, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the final result.
