EDITING REVIEW (will be at the bottom) I’ve had the best cat for nearly 16 years. Adopted her (Zoey) when she was 5 weeks old. Zoey would always come when called, play fetch, and yell nonstop/demand me to goto bed as soon as I came home. We drove from Mountain View, CA to El Paso, Texas in 17 hours, then it took another 7.5 hours to get to Austin from El Paso just a few months ago. - she was my only family in Texas… and that’s all that I needed. Well, her health started to rapidly decline within the last few days of her life. She started shaking when she walked (I thought it was old age and arthritis at first), then she wouldn’t come when called, and she also hid from me. Then she had a seizure and quit eating. Well, I knew it was time for a Vet visit. I met with Dr. Amanda Miller who was extremely nice, she assured me that due to Zoey’s old age and her health issues that she could be experiencing a brain tumor and there’s little to no chance of recovery at this point. I was in tears (I still am), but I knew Zoey was getting up there in age and it would’ve been selfish of me to keep her around. So Dr Amanda Miller and I decided it’s best to Euthanize Zoey. I did asked for a private cremation to keep the remains of Zoey though. Central Texas Veterinary and I agreed upon Private Cremation, my invoice also said private cremation. **Yet Central Texas Veterinary services told Pet Meadow (their affiliated business partner) that I wanted a Communal Cremation.** Perhaps it’s my fault because I waited for nearly 5 days before I called to check the stats of the ashes because I haven’t received them yet. Well now I won’t potentially receive them at all. Supposedly neither Central Texas Veterinary nor Pet Meadow Cremation Services can’t supply me pictures to make sure that I’m getting the correct remains. Both parties are unfortunately pointing fingers at each as of where my cat is at this point. Central Texas Veterinarian services provided me a refund for this mishap and they put a “rush” on getting the remains delivered. I’m pretty sure they’ll send me any ashes from god knows where…. I’m more than a bit annoyed as of now. The refund that was provided means absolutely nothing to me. EDIT: “ We deeply regret the distressing situation you encountered with the cremation services.” ^ Pet Meadow did exactly what they advertise. The people I spoke with there are also very hospitable and efficient. I truly wish I could say the same with the staffing at your clinic. Perhaps it’d be best if you just said : “We deeply regret the distressing situation you encountered with our staffing at CTSEH, we’re currently working to improve each and every clients experience.”
I am writing this review for CTVSEH Round Rock Location Rehab. Nichole, the rehab technician, handled all of my dog Ally’s care with incredible dedication. She went above and beyond to tailor Ally’s rehab to her unique needs and limitations, showing patience, professionalism, and genuine compassion throughout the process. Dr. Sanudo created a rehab program specifically for Ally, and Nichole carried it out flawlessly, giving each session individual attention and care. She always explained what she was doing and treated Ally as if she were her own. It’s very rare to find someone who loves their job as much as she does—and loves the dogs in her care just as much. Thanks to Nichole’s skill and care, Ally made steady progress, and I always felt confident leaving her in Nichole’s capable hands. We truly hated to say goodbye. Anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate rehab care for their dog would be lucky to work with her. —Rana
We are beyond grateful for Dr. Khorzad. After our regular vet kept our dog overnight and ran multiple tests without finding answers, Dr. Khorzad quickly and correctly diagnosed the issue. Her expertise, compassion, and thoroughness truly saved our dog. What sets her apart is not only her medical knowledge but also her dedication—she personally answers my calls, even after our visits, to make sure our dog is recovering well and to ease our concerns. It is rare to find a veterinarian who combines skill, attentiveness, and genuine care in this way. Dr. Khorzad has been nothing short of a savior for our family, and we trust her completely with our dog’s health.
While I obviously wasn’t happy that my cat was in such bad shape that she needed to go here, they made it a really good experience. She was in critical condition so they took her in almost immediately and began treatment. My vet didn’t think she’d make it but these doctors didn’t seem to have an issue getting to the root cause and nursing her back to near full health. I’d say the only negative is the price but it’s to be expected with 24/7 care.
Dr Barnes and her team are absolutely amazing and I am so thankful for them. They were able to see my girl the NEXT DAY and were so kind to her and explained to me all the steps and treatment needed. All the medicine was well labeled and explained as well. I already knew I would be following the instructions and medications as recommended. I’d only say the area of improvement could be explaining the cost a bit more - but the cost was more than reasonable and fair. I am so thankful for them - truly. Yes, they can be a bit busy but it’s also an emergency facility and they balanced the emergencies that came in while I was there in grace. We were referred for ophthalmology not emergency- but they are great at balancing both departments. Once again - so thankful and really wonderful team from techs to doctor.
