Thanks to City Fence for getting us 200 "pig-tails" to retie the lower portion of our tennis court fence that had come off during the heavy winds last week. We were unable to get them at the Big Box stores, but Ben Nixon had them ready for pick-up in less than an hour! Now that's service! Thanks so much City Fence! We recently had a 5-foot black powder-coated steel perimeter fence with a retractable driveway gate installed by City Fence Co. of San Antonio, and we couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. Robert M., our consultant, was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to help us carefully plan our fence line to ensure full compliance with the city's right-of-way code. The installation was handled by a fantastic two-man crew; Ricardo and Rolando, two brothers who are among the hardest working professionals we've ever encountered. They were not only highly skilled and efficient but also respectful of our property, keeping the work area clean and tidy throughout the installation. The whole job took about 11 hours spread over two days, and the level of craftsmanship was impressive. One standout moment was how they handled a tricky slope in our driveway-when the retractable gate's wheel kept getting stuck in a low point of the track, they custom-cut and adjusted the gate onsite using a grinder to ensure smooth operation. They didn't just install, they problem-solved on the spot, and the result works perfectly. If you're looking for a fence company that delivers quality, professionalism, and true attention to detail, we highly recommend City Fence Co. of San Antonio. I had City Fence work on one side of our fence back in 2020. In looking at the invoice they promised nine nails per picket. Upon inspection, there are only six. Some of the pickets used appeared to be the bottom of the barrel pieces (split, warped, etc). The gates on either side of the house do not line up and there is a picket on one of the gates that split completely in half. While I was having my fence done, our neighbors two doors down asked to have her fence done as well. So for City Fence, this was a bonus. Two customers in one. From what I heard from our neighbor in between us was that the neighbor getting her fence done was having some issues about her fence. I don't have first-hand knowledge what the issues were other than Robert, our Sale Rep, did not return her phone calls after completion of both of our projects. So I figured if he is not returning her phone calls, he might not respond to mine. In hindsight, it was my fault for not speaking up about the issues of the quality of work on my project. I should have had them redo the gates and replace the subpar pickets. Live and learn.

City Fencing did an awesome job on our backyard fence! We feel like we’re in our own little oasis. We chose to go with City Fencing in the first place because of the good reviews we had read online, and because in person Robert seemed very knowledgeable and it seemed like his company would do a quality job. He sent us Guillermo and his crew. Guillermo and his team built our fence and they were superb! Their attention to detail was excellent. Our fence is on a slope going two directions when looking at it from the front yard and we weren’t sure that a fence would end up looking good. Robert had a good sounding plan for it, and Guillermo and his crew made it look excellent! There were a couple of misunderstandings along the way, but I think that can potentially happen with any company and the proof of a quality company is how they resolve any issues. Robert took care of all of our concerns and made everything right. We are satisfied customers that would definitely return to him for future projects.
