We just bought our first dream home and can confidently say this wouldn’t have been possible without David. His reputation, experience, knowledge, and empathy were essential. Buying your first home can feel overwhelming and confusing for anyone; for us, recently moving from Europe to a market as crazy as San Francisco, it felt nearly impossible. David was instrumental in guiding us, without ever putting any pressure, to ultimately buy a home with full confidence, and at a ridiculous speed (less than a week from first viewing to offer!). David has several important qualities that we really appreciated throughout the whole process. Above all, we valued his patience, respect, and willingness to understand what was really important to us. He went beyond the ‘core home specs’ of price/size/rooms but really sought to understand the life we wanted to create in our future home. This also meant being creative, thinking outside the box, and showing us options that challenged our ‘inexperienced’ views, which we greatly valued because we identified priorities we had initially overlooked. As an SF native, he helped us think beyond the right home and about the right location in terms of proximity to schools, parks, and other amenities critical to living happily when potentially buying a home. Another rare quality that we really appreciated is his honesty when assessing a home. It’s natural for homebuyers (especially first-time) to sometimes think irrationally or emotionally, whether getting too attached to some random home feature (not important at all in hindsight) or wanting to make rushed decisions out of frustration. In all these situations, David’s extensive experience in the SF market and working with many clients like us proved critical. He was always upfront and gave honest assessments of whether a place was a good fit or not, not just in the ‘now’, but in the long term. One key quality we didn’t fully appreciate until it mattered was David's reputation in the real estate industry and among other agents. Mention David at any viewing or to any seller’s agent, and everyone has only positive experiences to share. This is critical because, in a competitive market, finding the right home isn’t the only challenge; winning in a likely bidding situation is the real hurdle. That’s where relationships matter, and David’s reputation as a trustworthy, honest, and high-quality realtor makes all the difference. Shout out also to David’s team, who were available 24/7 for anything, be it a last-minute viewing or digging through disclosures late into the night. In fact, the team’s value goes beyond purchasing a home. They support any post-home need you can ever imagine - from connecting us to insurance brokers, utilities, and financial institutions, to literally any specialist or tradesman you might need. I have had the pleasure of working with Courtney and Connor twice now. First to purchase my first place and more recently to sell that place and purchase a new one. I worked mostly with Courtney for both transactions and both experiences were amazing. Courtney is extremely knowledgeable about the process and all of the nitty gritty and nuances of the Bay Area's complex real estate market. She made me think of things I never would have and boiled down the complexities, and I became a much more informed buyer in the end. She also somehow made the whole process relaxing. Not entirely stress free, of course, but I always felt confident that things were going the way they should and that she was absolutely on top of everything. Courtney and Connor are second to none! They listened to our needs and made feasible suggestions to enhance the condo prior to listing. Their expertise helped to price the condo to sell. The whole process from listing to closing took just a few months!!! Communication throughout the whole process was responsive as well as clear. Closing was easy with Courtney and Connor at the helm!
