City Tails is the absolute best dog service in NYC. We have been so so lucky to be part of their family. Our pup Miles went to daycare 3 days a week for the last 5 years and would pull us there with excitement each and every time. All of their dogwalkers treat every dog with love and care as if they are their own. And they are nothing but pleasant to the humans as well. City Tails even watched our dog the entire weekend of our wedding. We recently moved out of the neighborhood and missing City Tails and their staff was the hardest goodbye. We will always be sure to use them for any future dog sitting needs. City Tails is truly the model small business that always puts the (four-legged) customer first!

I used City Tails in the West Village for about two years, and they were absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly reliable, friendly, and truly cares for the dogs like they’re their own. My dog Sonny would literally run to City Tails every day—she loved it that much! Their pickup service was always on time and professional, and they were super accommodating in emergencies (even when I forgot to sign Sonny up). Joel and his team go above and beyond, and it really shows in how happy and well-cared-for the dogs are. I’ve since moved away from the area, but I’ll definitely be bringing Sonny back for boarding or whenever we’re in town. City Tails is the best—thank you for taking such great care of my girl! 🐾

My dog Tails and I recently moved to another state, but our time in the city is most memorable because of the year Tails spent at city tails. Joel and his team were so incredibly kind and accommodating, Tails even had some behavioral issues and Joel and his team communicated efficiently and effectively, and after noticing the root of the issue they allowed Tails to return for a second chance where he thrived due to their accomodation. Great place, can’t recommend it enough. Fav pic I got from Joel of Tails below!

Recently just made our golden retriever puppy, Truffle a member based on all the 5 star reviews and it did not disappoint! Truffle loves going to daycare here and pulls to go in everytime shes on the block. We used the overnight boarding for our first trip away and based on all the photos and videos she looked very happy ( love the updates throughout the day) They are very accomodating and very nice people in general.

Look no further than City Tails; a family owned and operated, small business, that truly cares about their clients and their dogs. Their facility is sparkling clean, which as a trainer to a lot of new puppies, is crucial to ensuring these young pups stay healthy, while being able to socialize safely. I hold all of my classes there because I know Joel, Michelle, and the entire staff are truly invested in providing the best environment for dogs of all ages! Enjoying your life with your dog should be a community effort. We always say, "find your crew, find your support team." We've certainly found our crew with City Tails. :-)
