The change in ownership from Dutch to Cobblestone has been handled terribly. The transition happened with zero communication to members—no texts, emails, calls, or signage. One day the location was simply “closed for renovation.” I stopped by multiple times and there were still no updates. Cobblestone now claims they posted signs during the closure, but given the complete lack of communication overall, that’s hard to believe. During the shutdown, members were told (informally) to use other Cobblestone locations. That turned into chaos—not the fault of those locations or their employees. I felt bad for them having to deal with confused customers like me saying, “I’m a Dutch member,” while they tried to figure out what to do. It was frustrating for customers and unfair to staff. I did call Cobblestone customer service during the renovation, and to be fair, the representative was very helpful and assured me everything would be resolved once accounts transferred. Unfortunately, once this location reopened, fixing the account issues was a nightmare. Even worse, the wash itself is now awful. The tunnel smells like oil or gasoline, and the car comes out dirty. I honestly don’t know what they were “renovating,” because the quality has clearly declined. If you want a good experience, go to the Cobblestone on Smoky Hill near E-470—great employees, a working wash, and functional vacuums. As for this location: Cobblestone needs to get it together. I know it feels extremely weird to leave a 1-star review then refer you to the same business at a different location. But this is a location/management issue at this particular location on E Quincy Ave and Parker Road.
This car wash sucks... Worst experience ever. My car was involved in an accident inside their tunnel, and the damage was estimated at $6K. The cause? Their faulty conveyor belt system. My car was in neutral and I had no control while the system just moved my vehicle into another, causing the damage. Despite this, the manager refused to take responsibility and never provided any insurance information to resolve the issue. They clearly know their VEHICLE MONITORING is broken and still keep operating like nothing’s wrong. Now, instead of a quick solution, I have to go to court to get this resolved. Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 — I now have to waste time that could’ve been avoided if the manager had simply provided the car wash’s insurance to mine. This could’ve been solved quickly and easily, but they clearly don’t care. Completely unacceptable. If you care about your vehicle and your time, do not come here. One visit could cost you thousands. Terrible service, and they don’t care about fixing their mistakes!
I have a membership at this location as it's very convenient for me. I don't have to wait long. Love that they have a fitted car mat cleaner. The vacuume area is so convenient and usually seem to work well.
I never had a bad experience with my Scion but when I took my FJ Cruiser in for a wash, totally different story. The rollers did not do a good cleaning and left dirt all over the car and the rims, and water spots. That wouldn't have been so bad except it also scratched up my good. My truck was in near new condition when I bought it several months earlier with zero scratches. The rep at first seemed helpful, empathetic and even acknowledged the possibility of this happening. He also took photos but then the next day said there was no way their machine had done it and there was nothing he could do. The vacuum suction also wasn't as good as it has been in the past. Will never take my car there again.
Bummed...we joined the wash club over a year ago for 3 of our vehicles. If your car just has dust/pollen on it, it does a fine job. But if it truly needs to be cleaned, it stinks. When we first joined there was always lots of soap and it came out sparkling every time. Lately it seems they either have been watering the soap down or using a different supplier? But whatever the change, it doesn't wash well. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the employees are amazing and I do appreciate the free vacuums. See the attached photos of my car this week. Having the unlimited pass I can use the wash as much as I want. These photos are after going through the wash twice in a row. As you can see, my car is still DIRTY and has bug guts all over the front and window. :( Disappointing to be paying for this....
