My wife and I went to the late Dave Attell show and man did we have a great time. We were sat one row back, about 3 ft from the stage. All four of the comics were entertaining, Dave was hilarious. I see a lot of people complaining about the two drunk minimum or the pricing, neither one of which is a crazy ask. We had old fashions that were about $15 each, didn’t seem too steep. The place is exactly what a comedy club should be, we can’t wait to go back.
Loved every minute of it. 5 different comedians and Joe. Ron White graced us with an appearance !!! My favorite was Joe Reagan at the end giving ten minutes to open questions.
We purchased tickets well in advance, and I’m so glad we did — everything sold out days ahead! This is such a fun spot where you never quite know what to expect. The staff and security were all very nice and helpful, and they clearly knew what they were doing to keep everything running smoothly. I would definitely go back for more shows if we visit Austin again!
Came in from out of town with no ticket and waited in the standby line and was able to get into an open mic! Amazing comics! And the Astonian Assasin dropped in! If you can’t get tickets to Kill Tony, I highly recommend the open mics! Love the old theatre! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. A++
I've been to a handful of comedy clubs and this one is doing it right. Every single member of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have you turn off your phones and lock them in a bag and I think it makes for a well focused crowd. The level of comedy here will make you rethink your work watercooler jokes. It was nice to hear full throttle comedy from a complete variety of human beings. So many different aspects of life but ONE goal, to make you laugh. There is a 2 drink minimum but the drinks were made well so 2 will be gone before you realize. Even if you cant go to the Kill Tony show I recommend any ticket you can buy to this place because it is an experience. I will be back!
