I love this place dearly, and after having been 6-7 times I’ve had some amazing experiences here. Unfortunately, the kart consistency has become a significant issue in the more recent visits. Some karts, usually one or two, are significantly faster than others, while some are significantly slower. It’s frustrating when trying to set your absolute best time, to not have consistent hardware. About a year ago I was able to set low 57 second times, and now most karts struggle to break 60. I was able to set a 68.440 yesterday, but even while some karts still feel fast, their handling doesn’t feel as good as they have been in the past. For anyone wondering, kart 65 is currently running best. 10 and 70 are decent, and there are a couple dogs out there although I couldn’t tell you what numbers.
Went to the Peppermint Parkway Christmas experience. It was pretty cool lots of good light setups. All the staff was very nice and accommodating. My kid and a bunch of other kids got stuck on a ride for about 10 mins, which seemed to have spooked the staff, so they shut all the kiddie rides down for about 30 mins to double check all of them. There was go carts, zip lines, mini golf, and their new roller coaster the Circuit Breaker, which was amazing! All-in-all it was a great experience and I will definitely go back for the regular season!
Absolute must-visit for anyone looking for an adrenaline rush, especially driving enthusiasts. The karts are fast, and the speeds make the whole experience incredibly thrilling. The track is well-designed, offering the perfect mix of straights and curves to really test your driving skills. Whether you’re going with friends or solo, it’s an exciting way to spend your time and definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys speed and competitive fun.
You'll be provided a ski mask (head sock), helmet, and some brief instructions. Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before arrival. Everyone has to check in and show a valid driver's license. Not all karts are the same. Some are much faster than others, some have newer tires, and some have bent steering wheels. Don't feel too bad if you don't get good lap times. The karts aren't in the best shape, but it's still plenty fun. There's a very small mini golf course next to the karting for around $12 for 2 rounds of golf. They sell water/drinks on site for hot days. For the time you get to race, you'll get about 4-5 laps in total. Fun to explore the real COTA track as well, and you'll get to see Senna/Hamilton helmets on display.
Amazing track, with a few bumps on some turns. About $40 for 10 minutes race which is reasonable considering the track is decently long and go get to do about 8 laps in that time. Super fun if you're in a group, would definitely recommend. 4 stars because not all karts are the same, some are faster, some handle better etc.

Experience the thrill of speed on a world-class track!
