I LOVE THIS PLACE! Our daughter had her birthday party here - she had the best time! It is a magical fun atmosphere perfect for kids’ imaginations to run wild. The staff was friendly and professional and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door. We have been back for drop-in crafts and kids night out and our kids never want to leave! Thank you for offering such a wonderful place for families looking for things to do in Lexington. A true gem!

My first impression of this place was terrible. We walked in and instead of being greeted warmly in a CHILDRENS place, we were immediately greeted with that they couldn’t support our 2 adult and 1 toddler party, keeping in mind this place is also a shop that sells toys. Their website clearly states they do drop ins and have a drop in table and that was what we came to do. The front staff started to list off what they couldn’t support, because they had a party in the back, despite the drop in table LIKE THEIR WE SITE SAID AVAILABLE was open at anytime. When I said that’s what I came for it was like oh, here’s this stuff for 20$ have a good day, I’ll keep checking on you and reminding you I’m busy, but that I want you to feel important while I entertain the people that paid for a party. I 100% felt like as brown people we came in and didn’t want us. We were looked up and down and made to feel that this “drop in event” was not important. I’ve worked in customer service, and child care and have zero sympathy for people who can’t manage these aspects. As people who WORK in their business, when you have something that says drop ins and I say I’m There for that, if you blow it off until I point to the actual DROP IN TABLE, you basically want me to leave. We only entertained this, because it was raining and had already told my son about it. Otherwise I would have left and taken myself to Michael’s and bought my own stuff. Would NOT recommend for their racist and inconsiderate vibes.

We just had my child's 5th birthday party at Create studio this weekend. We chose the pet adoption party theme and it was a huge hit! The kids received a stuffed dog or cat with an adoption certificate. They made collars, pet carriers and clay accessories for their new pets! The space is very inviting and fun! The staff did an amazing job of keeping the kids entertained and organized throughout the party! They were very helpful and easy to work with as well. We love Create and Play! My daughter is almost 12 and my son is 4. They both love going to this studio because there is so much to do and so many ways to be creative!

So much fun! We came for a family art & sensory class. It was set up with a variety of stations, and left lots of freedom for each family to move and play. If it was every weekend, I think we’d come every week! We didn’t get a chance to shop, but there were TONS of awesome crafts, art supplies, and more.
