If I could give zero stars, I would. This school is disorganized, dismissive, and blatantly unfair. The French instructors are rude and unhelpful—they constantly deflect student questions with “refer to the book,” even though the books are missing important steps. You're expected to complete detailed assignments with vague instructions and little to no real support. Extra credit feels like a joke. You put in the work, and your grades still drop without explanation. You find out through weekend notifications—not feedback. It’s disheartening, especially when you know you're doing your part. There’s also a clear bias in how opportunities are given. Chef Stephanie, who selects students to go to France, overlooks Black students—even those with perfect attendance and a solid 3.8 GPA. Meanwhile, students of other races who’ve missed time or shown up late still get chosen. It’s not fair, and it feels intentional. Worse, there are serious issues going on behind the scenes—students have even shared stories of inappropriate conduct by instructors. It’s too much, and no one seems willing to take accountability. They don’t want your talent or potential—they want control over your mind. This place needs to be investigated.
Considering attending after finding out they have a new Afro American women chef! Which I seen on social media. I was scared to attend because of some things I heard about the instructors but this pushes me one step closer to applying! I live diversity in learning establishments, let’s me know someone there can be relatable.
Great experience. Beautiful setting, gourmet food at a fraction of what a price should be for such quality. Yes, it is a culinary college, and students prepare your food, but they are doing a great job!
I had a fun time at the baguette class. The chef and students were very friendly and helpful. I learned some great techniques and plan to take more classes in the future.
