Five stars all the way! I have searched for trainers for my reactive Aussie for a few years now and heard about cultured canine from a friend. We decided to set up a meet and greet and went with the inboard train for her. The trainers truly care about any dog that comes through. My Aussie has returned home and it is amazing seeing the work they have done with not only her but us as dog parents as well. They still follow up and answer any question we may have. If you are looking for trainers who care for your dog and you as the owner this is the place to go. They also kept us updated almost daily with so many pictures and videos! My dog is still her fun silly self, I am now just able to provide her with what she needs and she can now go into public without a muzzle. We are learning confidence together but do not fear that they will change your dogs personality because she came home just as silly as she left. Thank you Cultured Canine for loving Nova like your own🩷

The Cultured Canine team did an incredible job with our rescue pup! They spent six weeks working on his reactivity and teaching him practical commands that will keep him safe (and keep us sane) for many years to come. Alyssa and Annissia are very knowledgeable and you can tell that they are passionate about what they do.

We have brought our Yorkie Mix to Cultured Canine several times, with the first time being the 6-week board-and-train, and the results have been truly impressive. Our dog, Chance, had developed serious aggression issues, particularly in the evenings when he was tired and when visitors arrived at our home. It had reached a point where he was biting us frequently and becoming very difficult to manage. Since working with the team here, his behavior has completely transformed. He is no longer reactive to every person or animal and is now pleasant to take walks with. One of the most significant changes is how he interacts with people. He used to be incredibly hostile toward strangers, but now he genuinely loves the staff and is very affectionate with them. We found that using the e-collar they recommended is a great way to provide a reminder when he starts to slip back into old habits. This experience has made a substantial difference in our quality of life, and I highly recommend their services to any pet owner struggling with serious behavioral issues. Cultured Canine definitely does it for the dogs, not the money. And it is apparent every time I drop Chance off, he is excited to see them and gives them kisses. The photo is one they sent me while he was in the 6 week board-and-train. He was smiling!

Annisia, Alyssa and the entire team at Cultured Canine are absolute gems to the dog community. I adopted Winnie in June and quickly realized that she had issues far greater than what I was able to handle alone. She had SEVERE separation anxiety (broke out of two crates, barked for 8 hours, clawing and biting at crates), reactivity to other dogs and had a weird aversion to seeing humans hug one another. I had spoken with other trainers and while they all were nice, nothing really clicked for Winnie and I. Truly, I felt very alone and wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to keep her. It felt like she deserved a better owner-someone who was home for her and could help her work through her issues. As a final Hail Mary, I called Cultured Canine. They brought us in that same week to assess Winnie. Immediately, the vibes were entirely different than with our trainers. They were able to see her interact with other dogs and could see how distracted and intense she could hyperfixate on things. My gut told me to take the chance and enroll her in their Inboard. What this team did for Winnie is nothing short of miraculous. Winnie is still a cuddle bug. She’s still goofy. She still has some minor anxiety. But what they were able to accomplish in 2 months (yes, we did two months) is that they gave her confidence and security. They gave me knowledge and confidence in handling her. It finally feels like we’re communicating and like she is actually understanding what I’m asking of her. By no means are we out of the woods with all her issues, but we’re at an amazing place where rehoming is no longer in consideration. Every time I went for our weekly trainings, I could see just how much they liked Winnie and how much she liked them too. They correspond mostly through text, and you’ll get so many pictures and videos to see how your dog is doing. Even since bringing her home, they’ve checked in consistently to make sure things are still going well. This group truly cares about your dog and the relationship you have. If you are having behavioral issues with your dog, call Cultured Canine. They are truly wonderful and they will do everything they can to help your baby become a model citizen.

Alyssa and the team of cultured canine were exceptional to work with! My wife and I went on our honeymoon for 10 days and left Clay, our Staffordshire terrier and husky mix, with Alyssa and her team to practice recall and place. No doubt learned a lot from the experience (and so did we!) We got photo updates and loved the fact that a lesson was included at the end of clay stay so that we knew how to issue commands ourselves. Thank you, Alyssa! I’m sure we will be back.
