Mason is great to work with. He responded to a work request from Angie’s list at list 3 days early than anyone else. He showed up when he committed and listen to the technical specifications I wanted to setup installing solar inverters. I setup a fair proposal and committed to a time and for the job done right and in compliance with NEC code. I have had no issues for a month after the work and would look to him again for any electrical job I need and couldn’t do myself!!!

There was a scheduling change and I was not notified. I had to call to see what happened. The service man, while nice, blew a breaker in my business while here and that was an issue since the breaker box is not in the suite. I understand it was unintentional but..... He told me that he thought I would not be charged. However I was. My first experience with Decker was not great, nor good.

I called Decker for some work because the last time I had them out (which was 3 years ago) the technician was professional, honest and fair. So despite their reviews I decided to go with them again. I called the office to get a quote for the work I needed. 7 outlets replaced and the exhaust fan in my bathroom. The girl I spoke with quoted me $100.00 an hour including travel time plus materials. I confirmed the price and scheduled. She asked if I would have my own materials and I told her I don't but I could if I knew what to buy and she said the electrician would call me in a couple days to answer any questions. The only call I got was the morning of that they were on the way. Ronald called at 8:28am to say he was on the way. He and his apprentice showed up and asked what needed to be done. I went over the work again since I guess they weren't informed and they started. Ronald had to keep stopping to show/instruct his apprentice what to do. About half way thru he informed me that they needed parts and they had to go to the store. They were both gone for almost an hour because they didn't come prepared for the work. Ronald "rebuilt" the exhaust fan motor instead of just replacing it like I asked and ended up installing 9 outlets instead of 7, which was required. They left at 11:43am and said they would bill me. 3 hours and 15 minutes of work, an hour of which they were gone to get supplies. When I got the bill I was charged $100.00/hour for Ronald and $65.00 an hour for the apprentice plus materials for 4 hours of work. No one ever informed me that I would be charged that extra $65.00 an hour and I would not have agreed to it as I can't afford it. I was quoted $100 an hour period. That price covers however many electricians they decide to send out. I tried calling their office and asked for either billing or the manager and the girl that answered the phone was giggling with another girl in the background and they hung up on me. When I called back they giggled and hung up again. I tried emailing them at the email on the bill and it was blocked. I resorted to writing them a letter and sending a check for 3 hours of work at $100.00/hour plus materials and that's all they will get.

Decker did and excellent job with fixing my camera problems. Kris and Dennis were phenomenal. Did a good job communicating, most of all there were honest and did what they said they were going to do. I think I had and emergency and they responded to my problem. They are the bomb!!!!! Trust these guys. Thanks Decker Electric.

Highly recommend Decker Electric! Eldon did an awesome job for us from start to finish. He did a great job of listening to exactly what we needed and took the time to explain things to us and make sure we were on the same page. We recently moved into our home and had a long list of projects for him. He completed everything perfectly and for a very reasonable fee. Very professional, courteous, and personable, he was a pleasure to have in our home. We will definitely stick with Decker for our future projects!
